The idea of predator birds zooming into prey has been used for a long time now. It's not just OOO.

Anyone else hoping and excited to see Birth debuting either the 5th or the 12th? I mean, come on, he is confirmed to appear in Movie War Core, which is the 18th. So, unless Movie War Core is Birth's actual debut, but is just not seen by OOO, I think its safe to say that episodes 13 and 14 is definatly Birth's debut arc. If it does happen, I can't wait to see those weapons of his that I've been reading about, as well as see what his finishing attack will be.
