I am pretty sure it's not about romance, more like getting friendlier.
What if the rumors are true? I mean, maybe Giru shows up and makes the contest for collecting Medals complicated. Ankh's and Hina's relationship will change according to the actor.

I think that's been suggested from the beginning. There's the scene in the opening where Hina hugs Ankh and he looks troubled. Then, more recently he reacted strangely when she thanked him for saving her from Uva, and then when she gave him a present. I think they're going for a redemption arc involving Ankh, or possibly something else leading up to a change in his character - wasn't there that rumour that he isn't really a Greeed? And Hina will be part of that

I am pretty sure they are for Ganbaride. The post about the Buffalo and Ant Core Medals were posted before the Panda Medal was confirmed for Ganbaride. I am assuming the guy made some stuff up. He did say he would come back during January and post photographies of the Dinosaur Combo. Lets wait and see if he'll be able to do it.

Considering what Ankh is right now, that is infinitely creepy. Her brother dude, her brother!

As for the relationship, that was bound to happen. He's already "softened" for want of a better word towards Eiji, and from episode 1, we saw the intro and knew there was going to be a bit of Hina humanising Ankh. Now, as I secretly hope he will spend at least a few episodes as a major villain, I'm hoping it's only minor for the moment but I've been waiting for it
