Date is not a Rider who fights for others. To him, collecting 100 million Cell Medals is just a job. Which doesn't bring him in conflict with Eiji, however it does with Ankh.

i dont understand why does kamen rider always focus on relationships and not sentai, i mean in the old days, that was always a romance type of relationship, not physical contact just feelings,

i mean why does toei all of sudden is backing off of that?

First of all, I don't think that by "Eiji, Hina and Ankh's relationship" they mean romance. It most likely means they will get to know each other better and stuff will happen that might affect the plot later on. Unless you think they're all going to have a threesome in the middle of the CousCoussier? Kamen Rider doesn't "focus on relationships" - the only series in recent years that did that was Kiva. There was no romance in Decade, and the couples we saw in Den-O and W (Airi/Yuuto, Isaka/Saeko, and Terui/Akiko) didn't get a lot of screen time.

Why isn't there romance in Sentai these days? Because it's aimed at little boys of about 3 to 7 years old, most of whom still think that girls have cooties. It is an action show, not a soap opera.

Well, technically Ankh is just using the body of Hina's brother, but still.

Anyway, it's not like incest ever stopped Toei, did it? Ryoutarou and Hana, Hiyori and Tendou, Philip and Wakana, Taiga and Wataru ...

I like to see where the writers will take that. She's a constant reminder of Eiji's guilt over her brother, and the show has been hinting for a while that she'll be important to Ankh's arc (the opening sequence, and now in recent episodes where he goes all tsundere after she thanks him or gives him a present.) If as I suspect there's some sort of Eiji vs Ankh showdown over which one of them has to die or give up his Medals so the other can use all the Medals, I think Hina will have a part to play there
