The Greeed shouldn't be so strong if they were just given the powers of 3 types of animals. If humans created the medals, shouldn't Kougami Foundation be able to create their own medals.

The knowledge that was used to make the Core Medals & OOO Driver was lost to time. So it might a while to rediscover it.

well they never mentioned how the Greeed's medals were created, hell for all we know, some lost art of witchcraft could have been involved, using animal sacrifices and stuff :anime:
It was stated that scientist from 800 years ago created the core medals.

Having 10+ more Cores will make them go berserk, similar to what happened to Mezool and nearly to Gamel. Removing the 10th gives them consciousness, thus giving birth to their own greed.

GekiDan, I think I know what you meant, but it's not they have 10+ cores that makes them berserk. It's consuming cores that's not theirs. Which is what happened to Gamel and Mezool.

BTW, 800 years ago, the "scientists" back then were mystics, performing magic and what not...

Speaking of "back then", I wonder how creating the O-Medals worked 800 years ago?

I imagine the creators of the Medals capturing one of each creature and taking blood, fur, etc. from them and via some complex ritual or alchemy, the Medals are born!

Capturing the animals needed for Uva's and Ankh's Medals would have been easy, being tiny insects and medium-sized birds. Kazari's would've been the most difficult to capture seeing as they were dealing with big dangerous predators, Gameru's component animals would be as difficult due to sheer size and strength.

Mezuru's component creatures will be somewhat difficult, since an orca is so big and heavy, the eel would electrocute its captors, and they'd have to be careful that the octopus doesn't strangle them.

Of course they'd select certain parts of the animals to result in the Medals' effect on OOOs:

TaJaDoRu: A Hawk's head, Peacock's feathers, and Condor talons, all lit on fire.

GataKiriBa: A large amount of Stag Beetle heads, Mantis claws, and Grasshopper legs all ground up into a mixture of some sort, stirred with an electrically conductive metal.

RaToraTah: A Lion's head, Tiger claws and Cheetah legs mixed with some substance tied to the sun.

SaGoZo: A Rhino's horn, a Gorilla's fists and an elephant's hooves covered in earth.

ShaUTa: An Orca's head, an Eel's electrical organs and Octopus' tentacles suspended in water.

I....thought too much into this.

Lol, if Kougami made Nobunaga's "Crustacean" Core Medal set this way, he probably would use the leftovers of a seafood dinner and a taxidermy scorpion or something.

@KamenRiderPegasus

I thought the same too...until i remembered about the dinosaur medals...that would be kinda impossible to capture/kill them and if so they would be the most hardest of all ...lol

Fossils would probably be used. Either that or Giru is a self-made Greeed.

Destroyed? If I remember correctly, the 10th Core from each Greeed is used by OOO to seal them.
Nope.

Because a lion is scary but a lion inbreed with a cheetah and tiger is nothing. Not to mention a gorilla with the horns of a rhino and the size of an elephant.

You guys are saying the same thing from different directions. They only have a maximum of nine possible as their tenth medals were destroyed, so the only way to get more is by absorbing someone else's.
