Kamen Rider OOO Rumor/Picture Thread

Eiji is perfectly capable of making his own decisions. He doesn't need that empty-headed cow to make them for him.

And having the hero go "bad" for an episode or two is always fun. Look at how many people went crazy for the idea of Gedoushuu ShinkenRed :anime:

Wow, LC. Your hatred for Hina runs deep. YOu must be jealous of her good looks.

I'm certainly not jealous of her personality. She doesn't have one!

I'll have to respectfully disagree.

The girl has personality. She has LOADS of personality. You may not LIKE it, but that doesn't dispute the fact that its there.

She is a quiet, shy, sweet girl, who keeps to herself more so then not but deeply cares for those she grows a bond with, and has a very strong bond with her brother, and recently, Eji.

Hell, she went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that rich bitch a few episodes back was OK, despite her being nothing more then...well honestly, a crazed rich bitch who couldn't even keep up the 'rich' aspect of her life.

She consistently shows these character traits, and constantly shows another aspect of her personality AND character-she is very strong.

Not in a physical sense, though you could compare her physical and mental/spiritual strength if you wanted. They are very similar.

Her parents died when she was very young, and the only one she has in the world is her brother....who is basically dead, with some demon of pure GREED animating his corpse making a mockery of the ONLY THING she has.

...yet she accepts this, hoping and believing that he can be saved, and more so believing in Eji.

She was quick to accept the Greeed, and has adjusted very well from having an elder brother who took care of her, to holding down her own job.

No matter what you say about her, she HAS a personality, she HAS a character.

She may not be flailing around, smacking people with shoes or stabbing them in the neck with their thumbs, screaming at the top of their lungs, but frankly I prefer it that way a lot of the time.

We had 'two years' of that thanks to Decade and Double.

Let it slide and embrace what we have.

She's a nice character

Natsumi wasn't all that loud. She was a "damsel in distress" type half the time - always getting abducted, getting into trouble, and wandering around in that stupid nightdress thing.

When was it mentioned that Hina's and her brother's parents died when they were young? Or that she was financially dependent on her brother?

Ah, another sexist fanboy who thinks women should be silent and subservient to him. That explains it

Avoiding the topic at hand. Stay on track Anakin.

I'll have to re-watch earlier episodes, but I'm pretty certain she said it herself. She didn't SAY she was financially dependent on her brother....but well let's look at facts here.

1) She is not rich.

2) Her brother is a cop, so he sure as hell is not rich. Leaving to question where he got an iPhone from, but I blame Ankh.

3) Prior to her job at the Cafe, she did not HAVE a job.

4) She lived exclusively with her brother.

5) She doesn't have a known medical disorder at this time, thus she wasn't bringing any checks in THAT way.

6) She's not the kind of character to sell her body on the street.

7) Her brother was the only one in her family to have a job.

8) This should be obvious at this point.

Ah, another sexist fanboy who thinks women should be silent and subservient to him. That explains it

Yes, clearly that is it.

Clearly that is the entire reason.

Never mind that I was going on about how strong she was, and how I like quiet CHARACTERS in general, not women.

Never mind the fact that you have no idea of my orientation nor my gender.

Yes, obviously, I am sexist for disliking loud, annoying character traits that can ruin moods, while encouraging less obtrusive moments and characters.

And of course I demand that people be subservient to me, what with how I admire Hina for getting her own job, holding down a new life despite everything I've mentioned happening to her, and what is still happening.

Yes.

Never mind that I never told you my opinion on Akkiko, nor the fact that this has nothing to do with the actual topic at hand, once more.

Namely the topic of "You Being Wrong" and "Hina Having a Personality"

Of which, I'll let you know, they are connected.

I think you can figure out how.

... Was there an actual rumour about evil OOO or was that just speculation based on the picture? It's fanart, right?

It's definitely mentioned that she is a student. That's probably why she was not working before. Whether or not her parents are in the picture (it's possible they are, but just aren't relevant to the plot) it seems like her tuition is paid. If they're dead, maybe they left her money?

Yes, obviously, I am sexist for disliking loud, annoying character traits that can ruin moods, while encouraging less obtrusive moments and characters.

Doesn't matter. Any adherence to the "women should be quiet and demure!" line is sexist.

Ruin whose mood, anyway? Between you and all the whiners who keep going "I DON'T WANT ANOTHER SCREECHY LOUD RED RANGER IN NEXT YEAR'S SENTAI" I can't believe anyone here has the nerve to complain about underdeveloped characters. When a character comes along that can actually speak up for himself/herself, nobody likes them

Oh, grow up. She has no personality. Her only role in the show as is Eiji's emotional support and possible/probable future love interest. And it is not good writing - a lead should do something useful and their role should not be dependent upon what another character does

I'd like to see if the fan theory that the Medals corrupt their user (hence the Mantis Yummy warning Eiji in ep1) is correct. Someone on the Talk Up!thread thought Ankh could have been the old OOO ... probably not, but it's an interesting thought
