How on Earth is "Latorartar" a decent romanization of "ラトラーター” which would be romanized as "Ratoraataa" or "Latoraataa" if you want to treat is as Laion instead of Raion.

My mind is very sad and confused.

That's an error.

Because the katakana for Ratorata is ラトラター

They are mixing up taa （ター）which can also be used to spell tar, but that's wrong since the taa here is for Cheetah, not　Cheetar　（Cheater...ｗｗｗｗ）.

If you are referring to me adding an extra "a" on Tora, the Cheetah Medal adds "ーター†to the combo. "RaToraaTaa" "TakaGoriiTaa" "SaKiriiTaa" and so on and so forth. The ー elongates the last vowel of the body medal.

Yeah, the Japanese R and L are the same. Spoken like a mix between R, L and D. Much like TH is pronounced like Z there.
