Exactly why he should NOT be the secondary Rider - he isn't worthy of the role anyway, and this level of arrogance would be stunning. It's Eiji's show, not his.

I simply said it's boring and lazy writing to make Gotou a Rider, and that he is undeserving of the position. Who is responsible for that? THE WRITERS!

Why am I not surprised? A character with an antagonistic personality, such as Gotou, is really only fit to be a villainous Rider - he's not suitable for the role of a hero
