Uva→Ubau (奪う) To take/snatch away something. Uva's Yummies takes something hosts values.
Kazari→Kazari (飾り) To decorate. Kazari's Yummies are "decorated" onto the hosts and then grows through them.
Mezuru→Mederu (愛でる) To love. Her Yummies grows out of love? The girl loved shopping and caused a bunch of piranha Yummies to grow.
Gameru→Gameru (がめる) Trying to win big in a gamble. Still haven't seen his Yummies, so I don't know.
Ankh→Aku (悪) Evil/Darkness. They are created through darkness? I have no clue at all.
These are just guesses, though they kind of work.

That's actually really interesting. Also, I think the next episode has the word "Jackpot" in it, so maybe that has something to do with Gameru's Yummy?

Though, 鴻 means bean goose. You probably confused it with 鳥.
If you really want to translate the kanjis, his name would be "bean goose above". I personally wouldn't try to find something in the characters names. Unless it's the Greeeds.

Ankh probably creates Yummies by making people doubt themselves and give into their inner darkness. Could be a set-up for Dark OOO.

I tried googling for more theories about the names. Seems like Toei's official site has already talked about these a while ago. I thought I was being all smart and ****. :redface2:
Though, Gameru was wrong. What Toei meant was to steal something and making it your own. Ankh is also supposed to be from hindi and means eye. They also thought of 圧する (Assuru), to opress/to overwhelm/dominate.

Should stay more alert on their site from now on.

not sure if anyone noticed this before but after watching the opening carefully for a few times

it shows clearly how the Greeeds would look like with all their Core Medals
well, only Gameru, anyway..

there's also a point at the video around 0:36 when u can see Kazali's full form, not with black bandages but with Cell Medal grey armor
