Probably not, if only because... well, most things aren't as popular as the Taros.

It'll be very clear when we see what Toei does with Ankh after OOO TV runs its course, though.

Ankh isn't voiced by a VA though. I think if they had expected him to get very popular since the beginning, they'd have gone with a VA voicing him, rather than the policeman's actor.

That certainly limits his longevity.

That's one thing not enough people focus on. Sure we know Ankh likely will turn good before all is said and done, and sure, he SEEMS to be softening....

But the dude is just as evil as the other Greeed- possibly worse. He was the one who started hunting *THEM* down first, with OOOs.

Ankh and maybe even the other greeed aren't really evil, they just want medals so bad that they don't care about anything or anyone else what so ever.
