Kamen Rider Motifs/Themes

Never said anyone's ideas stink. I just see where there might be some issues with some of them, and Toei would just have to put some extra polish and effort into them to make them special. Of course that would also mean it'd be easier to screw them up, but avoiding that particular disaster is on Toei, not any of us. All of those ideas are indeed possible and could even be damn good if the effort is put in. I just question if the effort would be put forth on Toei's part if they ever did it.

I could see the psychic Rider thing. Perhaps in the second season of W as, as psychic detectives have always been a thing some serieses have done.

*thinks about a second season of W. Gets depressed at the impossibility of it.*

.....I'm sorry for getting everyone's hopes up there for a second. That was mean.

heh....might work at least as a side-job/cover. If they do this, I'm definitely watching just to see how they handle it.
Yeah, I guess it's kinda goofy.A side job cover as a baker aspiring to make his own type of bread will be boss though.:castlerock:

I'd love to see some art deco inspired rider designs. Maybe with jetpacks, ala the Rocketeer. If everything around them was stylized in the same way, and the city itself felt as significant as Fuuto, that'd be even better.

That'd be pretty cool, I must admit. If nothing else it'd be neat to see a few sketches or designs for any of these concepts. Unfortunately I suck at art, otherwise I'd take a crack at it.

Instead of merely being transportation for the Riders, how about making motorbikes the motif? Perhaps the Rider relies on a bike for his day job (like a professional racer or courier) and his love for bikes and speed is reflected in his costume. (Something like Accel or the Go-Ongers)

Hrm...as I recall Ichigo and Niigo had to accelerate to a certain speed to be able to transform, hence why the bike was kind of a requirement, but I think that was dismissed to be rather stupid. I suppose if you treated it sort of how DC treats the Flash Family and the Speed Force, it might be impressive. Having to draw on some or all of someone's inherent speed/kinetic energy to use techniques or transform....still, though....dunno how easily that would transfer into an aesthetic. Every Rider has a motif or theme that is easy to fold into a visual aesthetic for suits, bikes, etc. So bearing that in mind, it's still a cool idea, but I dunno....Accel was cool, but he felt kinda forgettable to me in terms of design. It wasn't until after he got Trial that things started to get interesting visually for him. To me, anyway.

Rider 2 never did, with him came the Henshin pose. For Rider 1, he didn't need to necessarily be on the bike, if he got enough wind force to make the Typhoon spin. Though riding on the bike was easier than jumping off a building or whatnot.

And wind blowing makes the Extreme memory spin, gives stronger powers, Cyclone has the power of wind and skills, Joker has the strength, and the death of Accel's father, mother, and little sister drives him to become a Kamen Rider. The similarities never occured to me until now. That's awesome (OAO)

That said, redoing older KR themes and motifs could be great if done in a cool way. OOO is similar to Kuuga in the ancient powers/berserk form theme. Thye did great with the hi-tech Rider designs in Faiz. Combine hi-tech with sci-fi and it would be awesome.

Remember that promo image of Den-O where everyone thought he was a ninja, it looked like he was flying, and thrusters on his belt? I agree, another flying rider would be awesome.
