Question, which series came first, Kuuga or Agito?

Coolguy then Agito.
And if I remember correctly Agito ties in w/ Kuuga somehow. Either that or Agito referenced Kuuga.

It's not exactly a tie-in, but the G3 and G3-X armor that Hikawa wears in Agito is modeled after Kuuga (in the show's timeline). More like a nod, really. Also, the Uknowns in Agito almost play the same sort of game as the Unidentified Lifeforms in Kuuga.

Weren't the Unknowns originally called by the number system that was in Kuuga before they were called Unknowns?
I seem to rememeber something about that or something like it. But then, I've been working all day, so my brain is kinda fried lol

In Kuuga they're called "Unidentified Lifeforms," and yeah, had numbers. Kuuga's red form was #4. The Unidentified Lifeforms and the Unknowns had different origins, though, I think.

Well....looks like I'm going to be watching the first few episodes of Agito, or else I'm just going to go insane thinking about this.

Agito is a lot better than Kuuga, and Kuuga's awesome. Really, Agito is the best New Generation Kamen Rider show, and in my humble opinion, the best Rider series ever.

Doh...I should have put "I'm going to watch it again" cause I've already seen Agito...and I agree it was a RAD series! Had me guessing w/ it's mystery type plot throughout the whole show

As Bolt said, Kamen Rider G3 is "molded" off of Kuuga Mighty Form(Number #4)

Damn straight! Until Agito, my favorite Kamen Rider -- and the only one I thought was good -- was Black, but Agito squashed Black's nuts into oblivion as far as I'm concerned.

There's a huge difference between the Unknown and the Grongi -- the Unknown had a purpose! The Grongi were just playing a "game," killing people to rise in the eyes of their tribe. It fit with what the Kuuga series was aiming for, but overall just isn't that interesting. I'm tired of all of the villains who want to "play games," that's just about the lamest motive you can have. Which is why I hate Abare Sucker. Is that a terrifying idea to the Japanese? That someone can be playing games...with human lives!?! It might make a good serial killer flick, but not a tokusatsu.

G3 was built by Ozawa, based off Kuuga, to fight Grongi in case they reappeared, since pothead Godai disappeared. It would have been cool for Ichijou to been G3, I think, but Hikawa's still one of the best characters in Agito. I think it's interesting that they were going to try and make the new Gens connected -- I think a lot of Rider purists would have shut up -- but, I'm glad that they ditched it and let Agito do its own thing without a crossover to worry about.
