[GAME] Kamen Rider Knights (Main Thread)

Kivarra saw the conviction in the brunette’s eyes matched only of the Royal Guards that have protected the Enchantic Kingdom’s Royal family held for generations. The small white Kivat recalled that fateful day when the Royal family in order to protect that which was entrusted to them fled into the Human World as a measure to keep from obtaining the Ancient Relics plunging into destruction. While few view this as an action of betrayal from the Royal Family others saw more clearly their true intention and prayed one day they will return to free them from Aesir’s control. While a handful of the Royal Guards had chosen to stay behind to fight back others helped in seeing that the Royal Family escaped safely. What had happened to those who had fled into the Human World Kivarra knew not for the portal connection to the second world was interrupted likely to the dark deity invasion.

Now was not the time to speak with Raina about the unexpected encounter of another Kivat who seem to know a great deal about her personally. “If I might be bold say that you forget about me!†the white kivat flew in front of Tamao, “I have granted Raina my power not only to keep her safe, but also a Kamen Rider Knight protecting those who cannot against the ancient deity. Raina and I understand the great risk when it comes the Kamen Rider Knight’s sacred duty continue to find the remaining Knights.†Raina chuckled briefly finding her partner’s speech a little too long winded and yet convey her desire. Turning around the light-purple hair young woman found her clothes notice that it was morning already.

As her eyes focused on the digital time flashing on the clock dwelled Tamao’s words even more. In retrospect the Shadow Fiends and Fireshades strong and merciless as they were are merely underlings did not have the full potential to demolish a kingdom without there being more powerful servants carrying out Aesir’s will. Tamao was right that they needed to do more improving themselves if they were to have any chance at all. It was now apparent that she would have to double her efforts finding the others and to become stronger herself. Having seen Tamao and the other Kamen Rider Knights in battle Raina was all talk, but in truth fearful to truly be called a Kamen Rider Knight herself.

Folding her clothes over one arm turn around facing the two nodding in agreement, “Then we have to try much harder†Raina said, “Each of us have our strong and weak points, but helping each other on that will be able to protect this world. Hah Hah….An even greater challenge will be you calling me by my name and not title…..†rolling her eyes to one side “And that other rider with her ridiculous nicknames too.†As Raina was about to head back into the bathroom to change back into her clothes notice a recognizable keychain only obtainable at her friend Ben’s arcade now recognize why Tamao seem so familiar. How could she not see it before having occasionally seen her inside when Raina stop in to talk during his breaks.

Tamao, having heard the words of resolve from both Kivarra and Raina, merely smiled as she watched Raina return to the bathroom. Bringing her attention to the small white Kivat, Tamao adjusted her glasses as she spoke up. "I apologize if I have kept my presence hidden from you, Kivarra. I wanted to make sure that the princess...I mean, Raina, was safe. If ever she was threatened, I made sure to eliminate that threat from the Shadows," she told the small white Kivat, diverting her attention to a photo frame sitting on top of the television.

Picking up the photo frame, Tamao looked at the photograph displayed neatly inside, which showed not only her as a child, but also an older man and an older woman, love and kindness etched onto their slightly wrinkled faces. Tamao could not help but stare at the photo with a look of sadness, her thoughts flying to her deceased father once more.

Dad...may you continue to guide me and the princess. This is just the beginning...

Before long a doctor emerged from the emergency room doors and looked a bit confused. In his hands was a medical chart that he looked at once, then twice before approaching Reiko and Cisne. “You two young women were the ones who brought in Joan Rozen correct? We just got back her X-rays and…well…” He paused for a moment to find the words, or rather, to find an explanation. On my initial examination Joan seemed to be severely injured and looked to have a few broken bones. The X-rays though show no significant injuries. I examined her a second time and confirmed that her injuries are far less severe then they were during my initial examination. At this point we can release her very shortly, well as soon as she regain consciousness.” The doctor starts to walk away still a bit confused over how he could have been so mistaken, but then again he had been mistaken about Joan’s hair color twice that day. “One more thing...your friend, Joan, when you originally brought her in I could have sworn her hair was blonde, yet during my second examination it looked red. I guess I’m just having an off day. Anyway you can both see her now if you want. Just keep your voices down.” The doctor nodded to the two young women before walking away trying his best to make sense out of the odd case, or at least hoping to put it in the back of his mind. Joan, now awake, lay in the hospital bed and seemed restless, but over all fine. “Man I feel like crap…” Cornelius emerged from Joan’s watch and sat next to Joan with a smile. “You were reckless today Joan, came close to death. You realize how much trouble it would be for me if you bit the dust don’t you?” Joan thumped Cornelius in the forehead which only caused him to sneaker more before vanishing back into the watch. Joan smiled and ran a hand through her blonde hair ,which felt a little longer, before letting out a deep sigh wanting nothing more then to get out of the hospital.

The locust like monster took the unexpected blow and jumped back. As he looked toward Sakaki prepared to attack again, he seemed frozen in his tracks. Upon looking closely at the creature Sakaki might be able to see it almost shaking at the sight of her. It started slowly backing away as it tried to force out the words the signified its sudden fear. “N-no, you were destroyed…cast into the void. Even undead cannot survive their. Chalice…no…I won’t let you…I won’t be your prisoner!” The locust monster turned as it’s legs morphed into a more insectoid form. It crashed through the balcony door that it had opened, but due to its size still caught part of the door. It used its wings to enhance the jump and landed on a nearby building at which it proceeded to climb and jump away, like prey running from a predator.

Distracted by the white clad rider relinquished full control back to Takuya trusted for the time being to handle the flying insects without her assist. An immediate assumption made too prematurely as the swarm barbered them in onslaught shower. Having exhausted much of her own strength applying her will over Takuya’s for that moment there little she could do at the time being.

That would be totally inaccurate recalling the encounter that of her namesake will have had made quick work with them. Except not only did she refused its call, the robotic dinosaur memory was no longer in sight or felt within the vicinity. “What are you doing?! At this rate you shall get….†Fang’s voice trailed off as the paling swarm had had ceased attacking all together. Aesir’s general was nowhere to be found having used the insects to cover its escape. It was revealed that the rider known as Eternal played the key role in their extermination.

Looking down at the Eternal Edge Fang doubled the barriers around her conscious not wanting Takuya inadvertently sees into her past from their shared connection. Down on the ground next to them Kuuga did not raise needed cause for these barriers, but that of the rider standing above looking down upon them. A faint smile caressed Fang’s conscious approving his response did not feel intimidate for clearly detected something about her that the others did not. A reminder of the reason why she traveled into this world escaping the intended fate the ancient spirit held.

Kitsune closed her eyes for a moment and sighed inwardly knowing if she wanted to keep in good terms needed to learn more about this world act accordingly, “Please forgive me†Kitsune spoke softly, “I’ve not been in this world for barely an hour and feel alone. What is there you’d like to know? Not sure if I can answer all your questions Ryuuga-san, but….I will try to answer that you’ve got me word.†Flashing a victory sign with her right hand for a moment mesmerized of the landscape view.

What of the whereabouts of their honored host? Kitsune debated heavily if the two of them should venture out together hoping not that he had ran into some sort of trouble with Aesir’s forces already too difficult for him to handle. This would place a huge damper on her own agenda if anything would to go awry already. Breathing in slowly the winds blew few familiar scents in her direction faint as they might be there was no mistake to whom they belonged too.

Kivarra hovered just besides Tamao in revered silence noting the young woman’s sadden face staring into the photograph. Even if she was quite still young Kivarra pieced together the connection of the other two with what appeared a younger version of Tamao. “You’ve had your reason for doing so in honor of your father memory am I right? You’re apology is not required and speak on the princess’s behalf when I say that too. Though the time now requires you to step out from the shadows and fight alongside for tonight was only a small taste of that is to come.â€

From behind the closed door Raina’s face blushed brightly as Kivarra conveyed her feelings without consent. Though her companion was not mistaken on those words and hoped to do what was needed when the time comes. “…Why is it that I’ve got this bad feeling…†placing a hand over her chest where her heart rested. Taking a few minutes to recollect herself emerged from the bathroom fully clothed, “Tamao, I’d like to say thank you very much for everything and look forward to seeing you again soon at the usual place.†Referring to the comic shop.“If you’ll excuse me, Kivarra and myself must go now…or we’ll be late. Do stay safeâ€

Reiko and Cisne had been sitting at the provided bench for at least three hours. Cisne had a worried look on her face as she clasp her hands together, filled with guilt that Joan's condition is a result of her selfish actions. Reiko on the other hand appears somewhat lost in thought as she recalls her encounter with the scary individual that graced them with his appearance only for Reiko to be helpless in his wake. With those thoughts in mind, Reiko clenched her fists, ashamed of her reaction towards a frightening being even though her determination of saving her friends is filled to the brimmed in her heart. Their thoughts were interrupted with the emergence of the doctor as he exits the emergency room as the doors thumped gently behind him. His expression is that of confusion rather that of assurance as he approaches both Reiko and Cisne.

When he inquired if they were the ones who brought Joan in, they both nodded in response. "I'm her long lost cute little sister," remarked Reiko with a somewhat cheery tone in her attempt to create a credible story only for the doctor to be even more confused by such a remark. "What she meant to say was she had not seen her sister for a very long ever since she moved to another country only for her to return and find her in this state," explained Cisne with a calm tone as she tries to make Reiko's remark more credible which appears to be effective as the doctor nodded in understanding. "As you were saying?" quipped Cisne as she gestures the doctor to continue with his prognosis. The doctor cleared his throat and explained his findings. When he mentioned X - rays, Reiko had both hands on her cheeks. "Oh no! Joan is actually a mutant and she has metallic rods for bones and she has an extra rib bone!" exclaimed Reiko with a shocked tone as she spouts her outrageous assumptions. Cisne shook her head in disbelief as she urged the doctor to continue only for her to have a slightly shocked expression on her face.

"She has no extensive injuries? But I could have sworn she had sustained massive damage from her fight with Arik," thought Cisne with a thoughtful look on her face as she ignores Reiko's frantic panicking. When the doctor noted that Joan would be well enough to leave the hospital, Cisne's mind snapped back to reality. "Thank you doctor. I'll make sure her sister doesn't cause any trouble," responded Cisne with an assuring tone. "Hey!" exclaimed Reiko with a pout at Cisne's response only for Cisne to cover her mouth with her hand as Cisne gave the doctor an awkward smile while trying to keep Reiko in check.

Cisne's smile faded when the doctor explained about the coloration of Joan's hair as her serious gaze seem focused on the thought that Joan is more than she seems. Cisne then bowed in thanks at the doctor's remarks while still holding on Reiko in what appears to be a headlock. "Let's go see her," suggested Cisne calmly as she tries to keep Reiko's attention away from the topic. "Alright!" exclaimed Reiko enthusiastically as she burst out of Cisne's hold as ran towards the room Joan is in. "Come on! We don't want to keep her waiting!" remarked Reiko as she called back to Cisne. "Keep it down. I'm coming," responded Cisne with a soft tone as she struts after Reiko. "That girl gets excited too easily. But that is her greatest trait," thought Cisne as a smile forms on her face.

As Joan lay on the bed contemplating whether she could leave the hospital, the sound of running footsteps could be heard as they appear to be getting closer. Suddenly, the doors flew open and in steps Reiko as she exclaims, "Joan-chan!" With that, Reiko rushed to the side of Joan's bed and proceeded to hug her from the side. "Joan! Joan! Joan! I'm glad you're alright and not a mutant!" exclaimed a teary eyed pajama wearing Reiko while the other patients appeared to staring at the spectacle that unfold before them as their curious and surprised gaze seemed to filled the room. Cisne is seen entering the room calmly as she makes her way towards the edge of Joan's bed. "Glad you're feeling better, Joan. I'm sorry you have to go through that. It was my fault to begin with," remarked Cisne with an apologetic tone.

When the Side-Basshar pulled onto Damon's driveway, Kaixa quickly disengaged the engine. Helios still looked shaken up by the new experience, getting out of the side-car shakily before looking around him. His wounds had healed already, unbeknownst to Kaixa, but he still fixed at Kaixa with a contemplative glance. Helios nodded once, Kaixa interpreting it as a rough form of 'Thanks'.

Kaixa caught sight of Kistune still standing in the driveway, quickly catching his 'companion's' attention.

"Kistune-dono. Sorry I took so long. I had some... complications." he replied, taking a small glance at Helios. The pendant the wolf Fantasian wore around his neck looked eerily similar to the Kaixa Mission memory on his Rider Gear. Perhaps he was another one of the chosen.

_____________________________________________________

'Probably another one of this one's allies,' Helios deducted mentally. He took at the look at the human named 'Kitsune'. Strangely though he could smell something in the air. The scent wasn't human like the armored one that had spared him. While the human smelled of metal and something else that he couldn't exactly place, Kitsune smelled of blood, lots of it.

"Who are you?" Helios growled, his words almost indistinguishable from each other. Kaixa was almost unable to understand him, even though the Kaixa gear was translating the Fantasian dialect that Helios was using.

Eternal jumped from the roof he was standing on and landed gracefully a couple of feet away from the dichromatic warrior. Tapping the GaiaMemory on his belts once more as he straightened back up, the white knight extended his right hand just as his belt called out. "Zone!" Immediately, the Eternal Edge shook slightly before withdrawing itself from the floor and flying back to his owner's hand.

Ragna's fist grasped the handle of his blade tightly, but did not put the weapon down. Instead, the piercing yellow glare of his armor continued to look directly at the Rider before him. "Now..." He begun to say with an authoritative voice. "I want you to tell me..." Eternal suddenly stopped mid sentence before he abruptly brought his free hand up to his helmet as a sudden pang of pain rushed through his body, culminating in his head.

Ever since he had finished the the device that allowed him the tap into the Eternal Relic, fragments of his memories had been returning little by litter every time he transformed. The process was not only unpleasant, it was right down painful and maddening with his head throbbing as disjointed images flashed uncontrollably through his mind. On this particular case, Ragna could see a battlefield, with hundreds of soldiers from both sides already lying dead all around him, and just up ahead, stood a dark, imposing figure. Eternal could not see any features, not he could have recognized them either way, but he could see that it was strongly built, with white hair, and intense red eyes.

Back in the present, Ragna struggled as he tried to get his breathing under control and composed himself.

Chalice…no…I won’t let you…I won’t be your prisoner!†The locust monster turned as it’s legs morphed into a more insectoid form. It crashed through the balcony door that it had opened, but due to its size still caught part of the door. It used its wings to enhance the jump and landed on a nearby building at which it proceeded to climb and jump away, like prey running from a predator.

Just what was this thing going on about? She was supposed to be destroyed? Or, at least the thing she was now was to be destroyed. In anycase, she was prepared for the next attack, getting used to this armor faster than she thought, when the locust decided to run instead. What the hell was this all about again? She was the one who was attacked, but this thing wanted to run now. Sakaki wasn't going to have that. Running out to the Balcony, she saw the locust try to climb and jump away. Believing that she could probably match its jump distance, she walked back a bit, before breaking into a sprint and leaped off the balcony.

This would have been suicide as a human, but she jumped much farther than that, like Sakaki wanted. In mid-jump, she would use the locust as a sort of landing spot, landing on it feet first and gripping it to get it off the building to the ground below. "What the hell do you mean I was "cast into the void"?!" She shouted at it, pissed. "I was just living a normal life until you things butt in!"

(OOC: I hope this is all right...from how I read it, it seemed as if the locust was climbing on a building. If you didn't want Sakaki to pursue the locust though, I can re-edit this.)

Takuya couldn't properly explain it, normally he would be freaking out but being connected with Fang like this, it was almost like she became a part of him. And odd feeling to be sure, but he knew that Fang wasn't lying...or an bad person. For now, Takuya was just focused on surviving the current battle. "Look, Fang I hate to say this but I think the best thing we can do right now is retreat" Takuya says, holding onto an injured arm.

Takuya’s suggestive course of action did not fallen upon deaf ears as for the time being no immediate danger brought by the ancient spirit Aesir’s forces were no longer present Eternal still posed to be a problem to them yet. As the legendary warrior of Fantasia forgotten past blessed by the ancients themselves clearly detected the misfortunate connection with that of their common shared foe. Due to the current situation any attempt present her case with him seem futile given the knight’s immediate skepticism Fang was on the Knights side.

There was also the matter that if she had had incline answering Eternal’s question would not be able defend Takuya against the white-armor clad rider attack following, nor did Eternal look the greatest shape carry it out without doing bodily damage to himself. “A sounding proposal” Fang agreed with her partner, “Kamen Rider Eternal do not be careless to your own body and find a place to rest yourself.” Addressing the Fantasian noting his inner struggle, “The answers that you seek shall be given in due time ask that you exercise bit of patience for now.” This was also implied Kuuga for he appeared in lesser shape too.

Fang conscious adverted back to Takuya’s “Let’s take this opportunity to depart before drawing any further attention onto ourselves.” Fang’s voice then dropped down to a whisper, “You’ve placed a blinded trust in me and now must do the same for I know not where we should go.” Looking down at Takuya’s arm sighed, “I can fix that once we’ve cancel out the transformation…a simple task.” Takuya held questions of his own meet them as they were now partners. “Are you regretting the choice you had made?”

-------

“Ahhhhhh….I see.” Moving closer keeping an honorable distance from the shaken up passenger, “Must incline started to worry if you had ran into some sort of danger without us.”

Kitsune smiled amusingly towards the honorific term used voluntary dismissed Kaixa’s action following his gaze towards the passenger in the side car. The hair on the back of her neck bristled instinctively detecting the Fantasian dialect remained composed, “Quite the vague question to be asked depending on the nature of the knowledge you wish to seek.” Kitsune continued studying him more closely became more intrigue, “Depending on your next action can vary truth be told. I’d like to think that we can be friends, but again that all rest on you. My name is Kitsune….a visitor to this world.”

Joan wasn’t totally surprised by Reiko’s sudden appearance and reaction and smiled as Reiko showed her affection. “Ok Reiko, just watch where you hug, they still have me wired to all this stuff.” Joan may not show it completely from her woozy state, but she was very happy that both women were alright and only slightly injured. Cisne’s words caught Joan attention though as she sat up in bed with a straight face. Joan reached her arms around Cisne and pulled her into a hug. “I’m the one who should be sorry, about your friend I mean, but I wouldn’t let him hurt you anymore…I won’t let anyone hurt you guys anymore.” Joan sat there for a while just hugging the two girls until she was eventually released from the hospital. Joan had enough of Reiko’s money with her to get a taxi cab to take them home. Joan seemed very interjected for someone who had come so close to death and it was as if she hadn’t even been in a fight that day. She didn’t seem to think much of it though and was more concerned for Reiko and Cisne as they entered her apartment. “You two sure you’re alright? You still look like your favoring your left side Cisne, and I can practically hear your muscles creaking Reiko.” Joan walked to the kitchen and grabbed a few fruit drinks for the girls when she caught something in the corner of her eye. Joan reached a pinched a solid, red hair from her shoulder and looked it over for a moment before dismissing it as a fallen hair from one of the nurses who treated her. Tossing the drink to her room mates she sat down and placed the tictok watch on the coffee table allowing Cornelius to immerge from it and speak his mind. “Well isn’t this a sight to behold. You three look lovely together like this. Warriors resting after a difficult battle and speaking of their triumph and the many aspects of the conflict.” Joan swiftly reminded Cornelius of the sensitive nature of the subject with a kick to the phantasm’s stomach which caused him to snicker and vanish from sight.

The locust undead was shocked as it looked down to see its feared foe hanging from it’s body. The locust struggled to throw Sakaki off but instead lost its hold and fell toward the street bellow. It stretched it’s wings enough to slow its fall but still hit the ground rather hard as Sakaki was thrown from it’s back. Stunned, the locust slowly rose up not sure if it should try to run again or stand and fight. The fear of being imprisoned as it had been before combined with the pain from the fall was enough to cause the creature to go into a frenzy and leap at Sakaki in an attempt to land a kick with its powerful hind legs. Before it reached the girl, however, it was hit by an explosive burst that sent it crashing into the ground, rolling right past Sakaki. Behind the two was Ebony on a ride vendor, a grenade launcher in hand, who raised the visor on her bike helmet to speak to Sakaki. “Use the bow, you should know how to through instinct. After it takes enough damage use the blank cards in the holster to your right to seal it!” Ebony’s words shouldn’t have made sense, but something within Sakaki seemed to know exactly what she was saying. The question was if Sakaki would be able to register it all so suddenly. Either way, the Locust was getting back up and was able to dodge the next few shots from Ebony, seeming less fearful of the black haired woman and more willing to attack her then it was Sakaki.

MAGMA! The man looked down at the device as he pressed the button again. He looked toward the tall office building, rage in his eyes and he gritted his teeth. He had once been a well respected number cruncher and analyst for the company; he was even on the verge of a promotion that would earn the money he needed to put his son through college. His life was perfect and only getting better, until everything fell apart. The president of the company had been embezzling money and he had found out, but when the poor fellow turned him into the authorities the president used his connections to turn the blame back on him! He lost everything in the scandal, spent three years in jail, his wife left him and took their son! He wasn’t even able to get a job with his criminal history. His anger grew, he bottled it all up, tried to drink it away but it only made him angrier. Now…now he would finally erupt and make them all pay. He would make the world see his fury! MAGMA!

The explosion and fire could be seen from miles around as something seemed to erupt in flames. The flames looked to be moving up a certain office building that, to onlookers, was growing red hot and may even be melting. Soon people were taking pictures and sending frantic emails and texts about a molten monster attacking some office building up town! A man in a blue coat with white hair watched the spectacle from a distance, a bit amused by it all.
