[GAME] Kamen Rider Knights (Main Thread)

Joan looked toward Reiko as she made the odd set of comments before shaking her head from side to side and responding. “No Reiko, what you’ve already given is more then enough for you to live here…wait…you’re a monk?†Cornelius snickered only for Joan to hit him once more to which he promptly returned to the watch before the strike ever hit him, causing Joan to stumble forward. Joan regained her balance and looked toward Reiko again with a bit of curiosity. The young woman did look as if she was in great shape and her almost childish demeanor fit with someone who had lived isolated from the rest of the world for most of her life. Then again that was all assumption, she had also mentioned getting paid for beating up bad guys so her happy go lucky attitude might just have been from personal choice. Regardless, Reiko was definitely an interesting person to be around, and Cisne was very gentle, almost motherly. Both personality types were something Joan could use in her life right now. “So you’re a martial artist then, hmm maybe you could give me a lesson sometime.â€

Xeph and Kivat both watched the fight rage, with Xeph growing every more disappointed at W performance. It was then that both noticed the approach of another rider, this one Xeph recognized instantly as he narrowed his view. “Kuuga…†Kivat heard his master utter the name of the rider, a name Kivat recognized easily. “Xeph, will you be joining the battle? Kuuga and W together may be more then Javiero can handle.†Xeph turned his attention away from Kuuga to watch the battle in progress. The dark figure smiled as he answered his noble comrade. “No, if Javiero can’t handle two riders in their base forms then he doesn’t deserve to be called a general.†Kivat couldn’t help but agree, Xeph and he together could most likely defeat both riders. This being the case, Kivat knew Xeph demanded such strength from those considered his equals, even if only in the eyes of Aesir.

Reiko nodded her head in response to Joan's comment about her being a monk. "Uh huh!" quipped Reiko with delight. "I'm the cutest and also most beautiful monk in my monastery!" exclaimed Reiko excitedly while striking a pose only to stop and appeared to be in deep thought. "Then again, me and Cisne are the only girls in the monastery," noted Reiko with a thoughtful gaze. Her thoughts was later interrupted by Joan's sudden stumble which ended in both Reiko and Joan staring at each other face to face.

There was silence as Joan examines her new guest only for the moment to be broken by Reiko's sudden childish giggle. "Oh...Joan - chan. I didn't know you cared that much," remarked Reiko suddenly, apparent that she has read the situation wrongly. Reiko's concentration on Joan was then broken at Joan's inquiry about her being a martial artist. "Yup. I'm a student of the White Lotus Monastery and the heir to the ancient art of the Searing Mist style. I could teach you all I know but it would take a lot of hard work and dedication to master," explained Reiko with a wink.

"Speaking of teaching, I think that would have to wait because I don't think you would want me to teach you with my fists covered in gooey stuff," noted Reiko with embarrassment in her tone while sticking out her tongue in a cute manner as she displayed her burrito stained hands.

Javiero proceeded to hoist W over the city skylight as he flew around with great speed only to stop in mid air and make a small swing and flung W at a nearby building demolishing a section of it, causing W to be buried under a debris of bricks and concrete. The action was almost as though he complied with Takuya's request to let him go. "Pathetic," spat Javiero as he mocks the weak effort made by W. In that same moment, Javiero's eyes began to turn its bug like gaze towards an oncoming stranger, who is leaping from rooftop to rooftop, approaching the location where Javiero and W are battling.

Javiero remained silent as his bug antennae began to move of it's own as though to test the air and then later began point at the stranger, who appears to be the bug type Kamen Rider Kuuga. As though by thought speak, Kuuga can hear a voice in his head. "What business do you have here?" inquired Javiero as his voice echoed in Kuuga's mind. "As you can see, we are one and same. Do not interfere with matters that are not of your concern. Deny yourself that privilege and you will be crushed," echoed Javiero's voice as Javiero continue to gaze at the Kuuga but is not as foolish to let his guard down and forget about W.

Having lathered her long luxurious lavender-hair Raina scoop a bucket of water to rinse out the shampoo paused lingering on Tamao’s words. As a small child Raina had had felt as if the presence of a guardian angel figure watching from afar distance was taken by surprise to be true rather than the state of mind. Squeezing eyes shut tightly poured the water down on her head several times reflecting more behind the tone in Tamao’s voice. From what could be gathered Tamao’s father passed away from this mortal world knew of how hard it was to lose a love one kept quiet. Furthermore, Raina saw more clearly how this might be a problem if this were come into light with the other riders will not take her seriously enough. Without needing words shared Kivarra hovered towards one of the fresh towel handing over to dry off with before wrapping it firmly around.

“If I might ask another thing from you….more of a favor actually,” Raina said stepping out of the bathroom. “It is unclear if the others know the same amount you….or of Aesir and his followers like to continue charade of being a Kamen Rider Knight. This might require bit help on you part to treat me no differently than them. I’ve seen their powers and how each handle themselves today still feel unconvinced…” brushing a wet strand of hair from her eyes, “Surely you felt it too that tonight was only a small sample and as it stands without the other remaining riders…this world will fall.” There were two good friends of Raina she could entrust to learn if there were new rumors flying about. Clearly that small amount of Aesir’s forces served as a diversion of sorts. Realizing that she stepped outside covered only in a towel blushed embarrassed chuckled nervously.

Discarding that of her namesake Fang held no regret making that decision even now as they were buried under the heavy pile of debris. Using their shared connection peered once more into Takuya’s mind to block out most of the pain taking it upon her instead. Shifting a support beam off to the side paused hearing no movement from the insectoid general. With their view block it was difficult to see what have possibly halted Javiero’s assault. Whatever was going down took it much to her advantage brought out the Heat Memory. There wasn’t time to explain to her other half needed to act swiftly before Javiero changed his mind.

Crying out loudly held the Heat Memory tightly in one hand W pushed the remaining debris off. Breathing sharply the dual rider prepared to activate the second memory halted to see that the insectoid’s general attention was drawn away from them focusing on something…or someone else. Had Javiero called for more reinforcement? A sharp jolt of pain on W’s right side caused the rider to step back covering the blow. I am paying for my own recklessness by doing that….

For the first time seeing the face behind Kaixa found beyond her own expectations especially the coldness behind his voice. Though with the elaborate tour of his home and background still quite very little of either the two whom she had escaped with. Despite her own personal feelings of structure buildings Kitsune had to admit the positive side that this one stood far beyond civilization to make her feel less confine. It was a small sacrifice to obtain these two allies against the Kamen Rider Knights and Aesir alike.
“You’ve got my word that shall not be a problem needing to be address, but respect that you do the same. Though how can I thank the person who saved us when I barely know your true name.”

Joan blushed at Reiko’s comment also realizing she had been misunderstood but seemed excited as Reiko spoke of the White Lotus and Searing mist. Joan has watched plenty of Kung Fu movies in her time and felt like the main character in her own at this point. She agreed though that there would be time later for training as Joan had errands to run and Reiko needed to get cleaned up for the day. “Alright, but can we start this after noon? I’m willing to work hard and become as good as I can be!” Joan made a few fake kung fu moves showing off just how inexperienced she was, having never needed to fight before becoming Kani.

Meanwhile, a short distance away, a bird shaped shadow loomed over the city from atop a building. As the figure looked around it could sense one of its kind near by. A traitor who deserved nothing but death, and with her was another powerful entity from its world, yet it seemed imprisoned. The figure stood tall from its perch, he looked like a massive hawk with humanoid arms and heavy armor. As He looked around with his accurate eyes, the being finally let out a bird like squeal though deep and foreboding that could be heard for miles around by all.

Xeph looked away from the battle as the sun began to rise. The battle had stretched from night into day as Javiero loomed over where W was no buried and Kuuga closed in to join the battle. Suddenly a cry could be heard that caused Xeph to turn his head at the sound of the familiar squeal. Kivat heard the sound as well and seemed to recognize it as well as he looked toward Xeph. “Seems Arik has found a way here as well, but I wonder on whose authority?” Xeph smiled lightly not saying a word, knowing that Arik’s appearance would attract other riders. Hopefully Javiero would either finish the battle or fall swiftly so that Xeph could investigate this change in events, and perhaps see more of this realms new riders.

"My name?" Damon inquired, stowing the Kaixa gear back into its briefcase, taking note of the various other weapons inside of it. "I guess I could tell you, considering our circumstances now." he replied, snapping the briefcase shut.

"My name is Damon Muramasa Hayato. Douzo yoroshiku, Kitsune-dono." he said with a slight bow, his voice even and monotone. Something seemed to confuse him slightly though, although neither of his guests noticed it. The icy,adamant walls that he carefully constructed around his emotions were beginning to falter ever so slightly. He quickly rebuilt them, stronger than before. He mentally berated himself for letting down his guard, even though it was only for a split-second.

He looked towards the horizon as the sun began to rise before pulling out his MP3 player from his pocket. It read 6:23 A.M. He blinked in confusion, it didn't feel like 6:23, but then again it might have had something to do with the 18 hour nap that he took yesterday.

"Well, you can all get some rest if you want to, I'll do some more scouting. Maybe I'll find something of interest. Expect me to be back within a few hours." with that Damon revved up the Side Basshar, Ryuuya exiting clumsily.

"The room with three locks on the door is mine, just to let you know." he added before zooming off, the Side-Basshar's engine roaring as he left the two behind.

'There still so many questions left for me.' he thought to himself as he looked around him, the surroundings zooming by. A loud cry caught his attention before something blurred in front of him. The brakes screeched as the motorcycle was brought to a sudden halt.

"What in the seven hells was that?!" he shouted. He heard another cry as he looked up and fully registered the blur. It was a small mechanical dinosaur looking straight at him, it's 'eyes' blinking frantically. Seeing as it caught his attention he began to to run quickly in a certain direction, towards the city.

'Well, looks like I found my lead.' Damon thought to himself as he revved up the Side Basshar again, following the small mechanical creature.

Javiero was in the midst of communicating with the new rider, Kuuga, whom decided to join the fray due to curiosity or plain foolishness to disrupt the battle of one of Aesir's most trusted generals. In his bid to communicate, his concentration was disrupted by the screech of a bird like that echoed from a distance. Javiero's focus began to shift towards the slowly lighted horizon as the sun began rise, signaling the cracking of the dawn. His action appearing to insult the presence of Kuuga as though his arrival is of no importance.

"Arik," murmured Javiero under his insect like mouth in recognition of the eerie screech. As his gaze is fixed towards the direction of the screech, he did not notice that W had risen from the debris and prepares to activate another memory which now rests in W's hand. Knowing full well the significance of the Arik's arrival, Javiero quickly turned his sights on Kuuga, ignoring W as he did. "Quickly! Choose! To join me or go against me! If not, someone else will see to it that this town and it's denizens will meet their end! However, join me and I will make sure that such situation will not occur!" exclaimed Javiero in thought speak as his words echo in Kuuga's mind.

Reiko stood in daze as she noticed Joan's blushing cheeks. "Are you thinking of asking Corn - kun out? How sweet!" remarked Reiko excitedly as she seemed to have misunderstood the gesture once again while squealing in delight over the thought of such delusions. Her fantasizing thoughts were suddenly interrupted as Joan spoke to her about the martial arts training. "Oh yes. Noon is good," responded Reiko with delight as she watch Joan displays some of her moves. "Are you sure you need lessons? You seemed to be doing well on your own," noted Reiko as she giggled slightly.

"Once I'm done training you, you will be leaping off buildings, jumping out of exploding windows, catch broken glass with your bare teeth and get involve in a cool car chase," commented Reiko with glee as her explanation mimics that of an action - packed movie. "Please pardon me a moment," requested Reiko politely as she makes her way to the bathroom where she proceeded to close the door and the sound of of a shower running could be heard.

While Reiko is taking a shower, Cisne suddenly began to place both hands on her head and suddenly yelped in pain. Her actions came about the same time a loud screeching sound began to echo around the area. "No! It can't be! He's here!" exclaimed Cisne in pain as she shook her head in disbelieve. "Joan. I need to go somewhere. Please don't tell Reiko," requested Cisne suddenly with a serious tone as she fights back the pain. "This is my fight. I will not involve either you or her," remarked Cisne as she spread her wings and proceeded to take flight. In plain sight, a harpy like creature is seen flying in the barely lit sky towards the creature that made that squeal.

Meanwhile, a few miles from where Arik is spotted, a crack in the sky could be seen as indication of from where Arik might have came from, a dark bird like shadow could be seen draped in darkness as it lingers inside the portal. "There he goes. Everything is going according to plan," snickered the shadowy figure as it's crimson yellow eyes shine bright in the darkness. "Valeria isn't the only one who could conjure a portal," noted the stranger in the darkness as a smirk forms on its face. "Soon, I will have the means to rule," muttered the figure who appears to be none other than Valeria's companion, Teeva, who appears to be the one responsible for allowing Arik passage to the human realm. "However, he must not know," thought Teeva as she slowly slips back into the darkness as the portal slowly closes.

Sakaki heard Sakuya's proposal and it didn't seem all that bad to her, but she still felt like she led on by Ebony. If the nice person she spoke to earlier was just a "face" the other young woman put on, how could Sakaki be so sure that they weren't lying to her in other ways? But again, her paranoia was getting beat out by her rational mind. She really didn't have anywhere else to go and this was the best thing for her right now. Being a little hesitant, she finally came to her decision. "All right...that sounds fair enough...and...a room at a local hotel is fine...so...where do I start?" She asked, a sense of urgency in her voice that she wanted the tests to be done and over with.

Taking all that belonged to him Aesir walked back into the palace folding both arms behind. It amazed even the ancient spirit how active while most worked diligently pleasing his every whim there will be those that sought their own desires think he would not notice. For now will continue playing his own role oblivious of their actions waiting shattering their hopes and dreams stripping them of everything to the point they wish for death’s sweet embrace. The tour throughout the palace Aesir reminiscence about that glorious day sent all of Fantasia in an uproar still brought great pleasure. “Hmmmm…It is time that each of the divided kingdoms are place under my generals control.†He noted quietly to himself chuckling as the next image filled his thoughts.

What were the thoughts now swimming around the second rider at the proposal offered to him by the insectoid general Fang wonder? The words spoken were empty and meaningless knowingly what Javiero truly held in mind should the rider consented to take his side. Having only made a connection with Takuya there were images within his thoughts intertwining needing to protect those she barely knew.

HEAT

With the insectoid general’s back turn against them this might be their only chance to act given their current level while Javiero is distracted. HEAT The mechanical voice spoke as W exchanged the red colored memory in place of the Cyclone Memory. From the center of the dual rider a red light spread out covering the right side changing it from green to red matching the selected memory. Unleashing a loud anguish cry W’s right hand ball into a tightening fist set ablaze with intense heat that did not harm the dual rider. If Kuuga were to attack those Fang would simply need to deal with him afterwards.

“He’s not your opponent!†Fang jump up into the air with a powerful jump, “I AM!!!!â€

Having found the room suitable to her own needs Kitsune proceeds to learn more about her new two companions. Standing now in front of the one room closed off to them the fox humanoid crane her head to one side curious what secrets laid within. Though not a cat Kitsune curiosity was dangerous close was not foolish to shake off the good thing that she got going. Remembering her own task decided to turn her main focus onto the other unusual rider.

((OOC: I LIVE!!!! > Again, sorry for the long awaited post everyone. Bit few things going on and whatnot.))

Remaining standing next to the door of her bathroom, Tamao looked up at Raina, who emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel. Noticing Raina blushing somewhat while chuckling, the buxom redhead let out a sigh as she smiled softly, noticing the embarrassment on the Princess's face. However, she frowned once more, her mind returning to the other riders that assisted them in the fight earlier. "I do realize that if we want to beat Aesir and his minions, we will need the help of the other riders. However, as they are right now, I do not think they are ready to take on Aesir. I don't think I can challenge him as I am either. We will need to improve ourselves even more if we want to even have a slim chance of defeating him," Tamao told Raina, moving forward to look at Raina face to face. "Also," she added, brushing aside the other girl's bangs to get a good look of her face, "at your request, I would not treat you any differently as the other riders. I am sure that as a Kamen Rider Knight, you know that you have to fight valiantly whenever evil lurks, and that you are exposing yourself to danger with each fight. But I will say this: The moment your life is severely threatened, I will come to your rescue. It is my duty as a guardian of the Royal Family, Princess."

Ryuuya looked around as he settled into his room. He couldn't do much settling really since he didn't have any of his stuff since it was left at his apartment many miles away. The fact that the police were scurrying around searching for whatever caused the light made it harder to return home. Ryuuya wondered why he had been the one to be attacked of all people.

He watched as the man sped away on his Side-Bashha, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake. The smell of rubber wafted through the air.

He noticed that Kitsune was staring at him. I suppose you have many questions to ask me as well... he asked.
