The chapter starts off with a black-haired boy in the car on a dark stormy night as his father drivers along the road by the mountainside, his wife next to him. They are laughing and joking, smiling as they talk about what'd they do when they get home. But just as they turned, a loud thump hits the top of the car, which screeches to a halt and crashes to the mountain's side. The boy finds himself on the wet road, waking up as he finds his parents dead in front of him, covered in a green liquid as the car is in flames. The boy calls out to them as he cries, realizing that they are dead.
Atlas fighting against two Verberworms, not having a hard time with them as the three were in Clock Up. As the two Verberworms know that they are losing, they Hyper Clock Up, disappearing into the past. Atlas de-henshins, and Toushi begins to doubt his strength once again. After a talk with Orihime at Bistro la Salle, he goes out on an errand for Kagami-san, only to find Kizoku waiting for him. The prideful Kizoku challenges Toushi to a duel to regain his honor so that OMNI-ZECT won't see him as useless. Toushi agrees and takes him to Tokyo Tower, where the two get ready to battle it out as Kamen Riders, only for Kizoku to withdraw because of who he saw passing by: his mother and father.
Kizoku spends an entire day, reunited with his parents he thought were lost long ago. His natural side comes out as he reconnects with them. But when OMNI-ZECT soldiers come and target them, Kizoku fights them off and tells them to run away, only to find Worms by their side as they reveal their true identities as Verberworm and Verberworm Rota. Rota explains that they went back in time to escape Atlas' attack and killed and mimicked Kizoku's parents, leaving the boy orphaned. Toushi appears, realizing that they were still around, and Kizoku, hurt that he even attacked his own comrades, loses it. He becomes a monster, fighting the Verberworms AND Atlas in his insanity. But Atlas reassures him that even if they are worms, they are what's left of his parents, and they need to be set free. So together, Gumo and Atlas perform their final attacks on the two worms and destroy them.
The two de-henshin, and Kizoku announces that there can be only one strong Rider, and he is not the one, but Toushi will forever be his rival. Then he adds the words, "You'll pay for not saving my parents," as he walks off with OMNI-ZECT to pay for what he has done. Toushi is left wondering if what he is doing is right as his father's son as Orihime watches him.
Meanwhile, the faceless commander of OMNI-ZECT tells a man with the Mantis symbol on his jacket that it is his turn, and the man disappears into the darkness.[/hide]
