Daisuke showed up in the fewest episodes, but he had the most character development (apart from Kagami). They really used the time wisely. Whenever he was around, it was always an emotional arc that got to the core of Kazama Daisuke.

Despite the fact that it got screwy near the end of the series, as well as charas being mishandled, I'd say it was a pretty enjoyable ride.

It could have ended better...and the writers could..or should have at least given the Hoppers some sort of story. Daisuke well his later eps were the best ones for him, even though he wasn't important to the plot.

Tsurugi's arch was alright for comedic purposes, but his final eps were great too, it would have been better if he ended up being the final boss Kagami had to face, meanwhile Tendou and and D Kabuto faced off against Mishima and the head of Zect.

Possibly make the hoppers be the ones to take out the Casai(sp?) worms that remained but they die against the most powerful. Todoroko-san I think should have be Zabee in the end to aid Kagami in getting away with Misaki driving in to give him his bike.

But overal...I'd give it a 8/10. Cause things should have been explained in the end.

They really should've explained how people got their belts and Zectors.

I don't think I'm asking too much there. It wouldn't take more than 2 minutes for someone to say, "Oh yeah, we hooked up the Hoppers with ****. That way they could stand in the way of Gatack and Kabuto while we went around and did other ****."

Or say, "Daisuke used to work for me or something, so we hooked him up."

Tendou didn't need character development, for the most part. He was already perfect. He needed only to acknowledge Kagami as a worthy partner (Kagami had to become worthy first, of course).

I got my first taste of Kabuto last night watching the God Speed Love sub. I'm definitely gonna have to make watching the series a priority soon.

Tsurugi did a whole kid growing up story in, like, 10 episodes. He went from a kid who knew nothing about the world and thought he owned everything, to becoming a man and fighting for his love.

Tsurugi topped at the mountain character development.

Another favorite moment was when Kagami was facing down that Worm, blasting it and Kabuto ran up in Clock Up to take it down and in the end Kagami thought he did it.

The way it was done with every shot there was a "1....2.....3...... RIDER KICK!"

Did we ever have it explained as to why Tendou was so averse to having friends?
