So basically this show is a less focused, far more toyetic, less character driven, and generally watered down Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Just, complete bullshit.

In this entire post only the bolded is correct. Everything else is a rushed comparison (why are people allowed to make assumptions when they don't have enough relevant data to do so, and are still taken seriously?), or typical fanboy bullshit. IE, "it's toyetic". No, Kiva having a sword that you jerked off was overtly toyetic. This is no worse than every other normal Kamen Rider series, because all of them are designed to sell toys, either to kids or to otaku.

As someone who thought he would dislike Kamen Rider Fruit Samurai but has largely remained quiet about it, I have to say Gaim turned out a lot better than I thought it would. The bar was set pretty low, but they managed to raise it.

In general though I think Urobuchi is going to throw a lot of curveballs for you guys. I'm not really a fan of his work, but I know what he's known for and after doing a bit of reading around I'm starting to get the faintest glimmer of where things might be going.
