Kamen Rider Fourze Discussion Thread - Switch On!

Wow, people are really that bothered by Yuki? That's the last thing I thought woulda turned people off.

Besides the fact that her cheerfully demonstrating how to transform is adorable, it makes sense. I mean, obviously she and Kengo already know about the Zodiarts and have nurtured the Fourze driver. This strange world of monsters isn't new to them. And she just found a new potential host for Fourze in Gentaro, so of course she's excited. Seemed natural to me.

Yeah, I didn't expect people to start complaining about Yuki's cheerfulness, but apparently to those people she was supposed to be scared by the presence of the Zodiarts like everyone else. But Kengo wasn't scared because he has been anticipating their arrival, and even had the Fourze driver to battle them (but apparently his health issue prevents him from doing so). Yuki knows everything that Kengo knew, even the information on Zodiarts and how to operate Fourze better than Gentaro, so I don't see why she'd be freaked out in the first place. In fact, I thought Gentaro should've been more shocked at the sight of a big red alien monster terrorizing the school than Yuki did.

I was more surprised that they never made a big deal out of Kisaragi's hair in the story itself. The press around this show and even the opening make it seem important, but nobody even mentioned it? :eyebrow:

I can totally understand why anyone, fan or not, would be / should be scared when a monster is coming their way, it makes sense with a normal character. That said, Fourze obviously doesn't play with normal characters and takes a much more fantastical approach to just about everything it handles.

I'm guessing it's not THAT big of a deal since this school is apparently much more lax than an average Japanese school.

I've got a feeling that the teacher in suspenders will harass him about his hair anyway, though.

I suppose you're right. Nobody really said anything about his different uniform either.
