Kamen Rider Dragon Knight: Interview Final

The part I was focusing on in my original argument was more about how he sold out his planet with zero consequences. Seriously, at the end the guy was peachy and his girlfriend was too. Par for the course with the show's terrible resolution of character arcs.

I don't know if they "blindly" took him back, but Eubulon being like, "We don't have time to punish him; we need his help" was pretty stupid.

Stupid to you... but I didn't see Eubulon accepting him like you did. Again.. this would be a case in how you want to interpret it.

To me it's par for the course on how you interpret the show.... I didn't see it as easy at all. Not to mention.. it's up to you to believe what happens. After everything, I don't see their relationship lasting, Adam ever really being accepted by anyone or ever really fully atoning for what he did.

It's up to you to decide everything's peachy keen if you want to.. to me that'd be a stupid ending and not the ending I want to see from what I saw.

Keith we're arguing about story structure. "Adam was the betrayer of his planet and was shown to have no negative consequences in the show itself, this is not what you're supposed to do in stories" isn't open to that much personal interpretation.

Was his name, Gai? I'm sure the No Men probably hooked him up..

In the show itself, none of his friends believed him when he said he wanted to join them again, and one of them threatened to vent him... I'd say that was some negative consequence. And now he's working toward atonement. You're the one who said he gets to live peachy keen with his girlfriend beyond the show tho... last shot I saw didn't seem roses. Adam is in for a tough road ahead.

I'm basing this on what I saw in the program. She doesn't even seem that angry, and they're smiling at the end of the "finale". (Clip show and five minute epilogue more than a finale.) If there was any retribution, the show didn't actually present it.
