I'm just saying, I dont think it would do so hot. I dont think the content is even worth an older audience. I've always believed that Super-hero toku like Sentai and Rider is just an aquired taste. Not everyone is going to take it seriously or try to appreciate it the way some of us do.

I'm sure KR, as a kids show, will perform great though. I cant wait

For the past several decades, it's been that way with Godzilla, also, even though those movies were made for the whole family (like Ultraman). These days, Japan looks down on Godzilla movies as "kids' movies." The majority of Godzilla's audience today in Japan are children, baby boomers and adult fans.

And yes, Japanese superhero stuff on TV is usually for kids anyway. But like I said, Americans don't agree with superhero stuff anyway. Until 1993, we've seldom seen any superhero shows after Spectreman (which was only the beginning in Japan), because they were getting increasingly violent. (Horror movie host Bob Wilkins, as I understand it, wanted to bring Battle Hawk to the US, but the networks refused, because it was too violent.) It's really, really sad.

Update:

While no deals are final, I've heard the name of the head runner for Kamen Rider, and it's not disney. Once deals are final, I'll let you know.
