Kabuto's Second Half (everyone seems to hate it?)

I was expecting there was an ultimate leader behind the worms, but they're just wandering around until they mature. Nogi was cool, but what was the point of his character and he gets weaker in the end.

I think that the series should have ended after Sasword's sacrifice. It wouldn't had been the best ending, but it would have been better than the "Btw the Native leader is evil too" one with got.

How about a show that stayed in continuity with the "prequel" movie and didn't make the secondary Riders irrelevant to the main plot. For all that's said about Drake and Sasword being developed in their own little stories, they were practically useless everywhere else. Tsurugi being a clown even when the others are discussing key plot points, Yauguruma and Kageyama becoming aimless punks, and Daisuke not even fighting in the last battle, sort of points out that no one really knew what to do with anyone not Tendou or Kagami.

 I ranted about that in the "Disappointment" thread. GSL would have explained some of the lose ends created earlier in the series, such as why Hiyori kept drawing fairies, but they threw it away later on.

The very first flashback in the tv show (episode 8) was different from the movie version. So, there was never any change of direction in the series.

Except for the "How long are you going to keep me waiting?" line from Tendou in the first episode.

Kabuto will always be my favorite kamen rider series, I loved the story the characters but I will admit it had flaws, to me the dark kitchen arc was pointless and a waste of time also like other people mentioned it had great ideas just not enough time to show it.

I would of loved to see a return to the bee rider permantly sorta like that one picture hinted/gave me false hope, the one where all the series riders are stood together O.o could proberbly find it but I dont have time to go looking

I don't see how that makes any difference or proves that the movie origin was intended to be shown in the tv show at some point. In both the movie version and the version Tendo remembers in the tv show, he didn't get any explanation about the Zecters, he just got the belt by itself. He was waiting for the belt to do something, even if he didn't know what it was.

But at the very least, in the movie Tendou saw the Kabuto Zecter. He could have put together that the belt + red mechanical beetle = armor. Without the movie, he just knew of the Kabuto Zecter before it was even released.
