Personally, rather then everyone here commenting on this why not have some of the Parents who are members here say something. I'd like to hear what they have to say considering they got kiddies.

It's not the first time a near homosexual relationship has been portrayed on Kamen Rider. They've been doing it since Kuuga one might argue, but Ryuki's Kitaoka and Goro are a more prime example (and this is based on their actual portrayals in the show not random shipping). However the Hoppers were on a whole level of their own, by the way they were portrayed they really could have been a couple...especially since there was nothing in the series that (outside of one out of character moment) would identify either of them clearly as actually being heterosexual.

Ok then, I guess it could just be the fact that Hidenori Tokuyama and Masato Uchiyama are "special friends" in real life too.

No one is claiming they are gay based on them wanting them to be, but based on how they were portrayed in the show. You most likely ignored the indications cause you've made it quite clear how homophobic you are, so god forbid you like a hero who happens to be gay, but they are there.

I don't know about Hongo and Ichimonji (the original anyway Firsty/Nexty are a whole other matter), and Ren and Shinji were both clearly hetero, and it doesn't matter how many yaoi fans want them to be gay they aren't because that's how they were portrayed in the series (and movie).

I've got nothing against homosexuals. I know a few and they are infact some of the coolest down to earth people I've ever met. I'm just talking from a business standpoint where the TV stations have the option to air those kinds of things. Ya know what I'm sayin?.

I was a media student until I dropped out in the fall term after I managed to score a job in the airline industry....

Kamen Rider is marketed to children, but the producers know that they have that middle aged woman/teenage girl audience. They didn't have to be explicit but they made many... suggestions to the two that they maybe closer than simply brothers in darkness. They were the factor that kept the girls watching.

I am not throwing out the possibility that two were, in some way, attracted to each other. I am not saying that a girl that likes LOLBUTTSECHS but as someone who watched the series two times in a row and observed how they acted with each other.
