[Kabuto] The Hoppers

I loved the kick hoppers, but I felt there should have been more to them. When they were introduced, it was a big deal, and they were like "Oh, the gates to hell are open", and then they sort of became side characters. I'm planning on doing a fan manga that continues the story of Kabuto, and would explain what happens to the remaining hopper, among other things. Are you laughing at me?

In all honesty? Yes, I believe so. And for the record this isn't the crazy boy on boy lovin' side talking, but the amateur filmmaker and screenwriter.

I believe the setup was obviously there. Given their pasts, the intertwined ZaBee backdrop, the Zect relationships. It just would have worked.

But unfortunately...

...you get the knee-jerk reaction. Audiences either American or even Japanese just are not ready for this story. Especially not in a children's show.

But writers are crafty. I wouldn't be surprised if the intention was purposely dropped into the show under the subtle guise of the "big brother". It's been done before.

But at its basic level, Kamen Rider, kids show aside. Looking at Yaguruma's and Kageyama's story. I could see them loving each other, seriously. easily.

But maybe that's just me and I'm looking too much into it. But it definitely would have added a much needed angle that could have worked.

Indeed, and it would have made it all the more touching and sad when Yaguruma was forced to kill Kageyama. It would have added a depth to his death, and probably wouldve elevated it up to Tsurugi's death in sadness. As it was it was honestly kind of a "Eh, I had to do it" moment...

Do you blame them?.

What are we, living in the stone age??? It's about time that gay couples were shown in kids shows. What about all those kids who have two mommies or two daddies? I bet they feel left out when they're watching kids shows. :disappoin

I went through all of Kabuto thinking they were together. It just felt right. It was easy to see. From the very beginning, when Yaguruma brought Kageyama food in the hospital.

Hoppers = total dark love.

Why would TV stations want to promote Homosexuality to Children?. Disney hardly ever even promotes straight relationships for **** sakes just look at PR.

Not that there is anything wrong with it. But from the TV station's view points if they were to allow this then pissed off Parents would be going ape ****, especially Soccer Moms who cry like bitches if there is any violence in a TV show let alone boys kissing eachother.

Imagine Disney being the first to allow it?.

Albeit the same soccer moms who watch that one soap (no clue the name) with the gay couple.

Is there honestly that much intolerance in japan? I thought that there was a lot more than in america for sure...

Yes but they are Adults watching the program not CHILDREN.

Personally, rather then everyone here commenting on this why not have some of the Parents who are members here say something. I'd like to hear what they have to say considering they got kiddies.

*points at Mikazuki*

A deep, brotherly, possibly homoerotic-but-they're-still-straight relationship is the most I can see from them, IMO. Nothing wrong with gay people, they can be awesome. I just think you're reading too much into it.
