Just found out some VERY SHOCKING information.

So I had finished mowing the lawn yesterday, and had come in to get a shower and stuff. And the subject came up about my real mom and stuff, and my grandma laid this bombshell on me.

Spoiler Alert! Anyone who's waiting for the movie might want to go away now.


Anyway, she said that when I was a year old, not only was I physically abused, but apparently I was also sexually abused.


Now, I gotta say, I laughed my ass off at her, but apparently she was being serious.

That's pretty fucked up and horrible stuff, Kenori.

Obviously, you wouldn't remember it if the abuse stopped when you were a baby, but wow, that can bring out some awful feelings.

I know a lot about child abuse and sexual abuse. As little girls, my mom and her sisters were treated monstrously by a few relatives tied to a cultish society that I'll leave out of this thread. The abuse continued well into their adolescence, but they repressed the memories. My mom didn't start remembering what happened to her until she was about 40 or so, and then it hit her like a nuclear bomb.

Hopefully you won't have to go through those terrible memories, but if you start feeling fucked up, I recommend with all my heart that you consider talking to a counselor for a while.

Actually, quite the opposite, I was laughing my ass off. I think it explains why I always felt different from other people. It seems like I had to grow up really fast, I think that might have been why...

Anyway, I'm not turning this into a big "Lets all cry for Kenori party." I'm dealing with it. Its really no big deal. I just thought my friends should know

I suppose I am. I dont feel much different, its just sorta explains a lot about the way I am. I suppose I'm relieved more than anything.
