Well, he wasn't the first and is not the only one. I can remember looking in a 2nd hand shop window and spotting Amy Jo Johnson (AKA: Kimberly) in a horror movie on DVD. I haven't seen this movie, just seen the DVD front cover..
And Thuy Trang (Trini) was in a movie called "The Crow".

I remember she was in a bug-horror movie on TV. Could that be what you saw? I think it was called "Infested" or something like that.
