Japanese Dubbed Power Rangers

Are you talking about the voiceover of either Leo or Kao from PRLG???

Kai. Ryouma/Ginga Red's actor dubbed Kai/Lost Galaxy Blue. Not only that, but Hyuuga/Kuro Kishi's actor dubbed the voice for Leo/Lost Galaxy Red. And Chisato/Mega Yellow's actress dubbed the voice of Maya/Yellow. And Saizou/Ninja Blue's actor dubbed the voice of Mike/Magna Defender. So...go figure.

The only sentai actor who dubbed their American counterpart, IIRC, is Yuuji Kishi (Kyousuke/Red Racer) dubbing TJ/the Red Turbo Power Ranger.

None of the voices sound like the American originals. The morphed footage looked and sounded like a Super Sentai. It was pretty interesting.

I used to have the Japaese dub of Day Of The Dumpster. It was fun.

I know that Japan has the Magazine mentions of Power Rangers an d not too long ago (less than a year, I think) there was a DVD of an overview of the Disney era seasons in Japanese.

The merch board on RB had a scan of a Japanese magazine about Power Morphicon.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Dino Thunder used to air in Japan.

Right now, I believe S.P.D. is airing this year in Japan. I could be wrong.

Gee... I wonder how they feel about Disney's Power Rangers.

Dino Thunder aired!? :O_O:

I thought they aired only through Lightspeed Rescue when I made my thread about this and up to Lost Galaxy got a VHS/DVD release.

A side note, Yuji Kishi (Red Racer in Carranger) voiced T.J. for ever appearance T.J. made except Forever Red which I'm pretty sure didn't air in Japan.

And I know the 30th Anniversary Encyclopedia featured quick montages of the different Power Rangers seasons also.

And from the SPD Panel at PMC, according to the writer of SPD, the Deka staff loved SPD (although the same probably can't be said for Psychic Lover or the Cast, never know about the Cast though, I mean do Umeko and Ban, actor wise, look like the type that would watch DBZ?)

Greg Aronowitz told us some Toei guys came down to NZ to check out PRSPD and loved what they were doing, particularly the Cruger reworking. So in the end they used the Battlizer for Magi vs. Deka, though that was a Plex design anyway.

This is pretty neat. Actually, the VO was done so well, I couldn't even tell it was dubbed!

I'm amazed the Japanese even care about PR, considering they have Sentai...
