Japanese Batman OP

Well...I'll be damned...what next...a Batman Toku...with a Batman from the Bat Planet???
A Batman Toku would sound great!! Even though it already exists in the form on a 1960's series starring Adam West and his buddies!!

That actually looks like a Japanese opening for one of the old Filmation Batman cartoons, "The New Adventures of Batman." That little sidekick thing is called "Batmite," who is said to be the most annoying and childish character EVER.

Not surprisingly, this is also said to be Joel Schumacher's favorite Batman cartoon.

OK, this officially kicks ass! While the Filmation Batman from the 70s wasn't the best series, this Japanese theme more than makes up for it! I have got to find these songs! :buttrock:

Reminds me a little of the Teen Titans theme, but better!

BTW, the series' Japanese title is Lightning Speed Batman (Denkou Sekka Battoman), and it aired on NTV in 1987 (from January to April). The names of the songs are:

"BATMAN -Crescent Night Story-"
Composer: Hideya Nakazaki
Lyrics: Natsumi Tadano
Arrangement: Jun Irie
Vocals: Sue Cream Sue (Shuu Kuriimu Shu; Part of Kome Kome Club)

"I Love Batman" ("I Love Battoman")
Composer: Hideya Nakazaki
Lyrics: Junko Satou
Arrangement: Jun Irie
Vocals: Sue Cream Sue
