Japanese Batman?

I'm guessing the reasons why they were able to get away with them was mainly because Korea didn't have a company licensing the original Japanese shows in Korea.

Korean word for tonkatsu is teugchual/tuk'chwal? I've never heard any Korean in my life call tonkatsu that... we all call tonkatsu, Donkasu.

There in Korea? That's interesting! Thanks for the tidbit!

Actually, I based it on a phonetic Korean translation a friend of mine and I did on the kanji characters for "tokusatsu". In Korean, they spell "teugchual". In Chinese, it'd be "te cuo" (Mandarin) or "dak chyut" (Cantonese).
