You almost can't beat amazon.co.jp for import Blu-Rays. The discount per disc just about pays for crazy shipping fees.

I know!. When I order it on friday I'm also grabbing the All Riders b-r and pre-ordering Rider War 2010 b-r.

Like usual with Amazon Japan my order shipped on the 22nd and arrived the 23rd which ruled because that was the same date it went on sale in Japan so for once I got to buy my movie the same time the fans in Japan got to!

Oh, and I watched it twice the first day just so I could take in the awesomeness of it...well that and as soon as my wife got home from work she walked in and yell "WHERE IS IT?! WE ARE WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW!".

Man, I kind of want to watch it again....such an amazing movie.

Nothing beats this watching it in the theaters. Not even Blu-Ray.

Watching this in the theaters was a awsome moment.

Actually, to help offset the theater differences, I remixed the movie for the Blu-Ray, so the in-home 5.1 experience more closely matches the in-theater experience. Because we had more time with it, a few things which were missed for the theatrical release were corrected in the mix, as well. Ultimately, the Blu-Ray is the definitive presentation for UGL - at least, that's what we did our best to accomplish.

Definitely one of the best toku movies i have ever seen ... the subs were flawless and the movie itself is mind boggling, and the BGM, its like watching a Movie made from Hollywood :O

My excitement continues to grow. I cannot wait to watch this sucker.

ONLY complaint.... no Blu-ray Memorial Boxed Set. Which is a shame.

That's a plus for me. While I like to have all my discs in their original cases, big collector's boxes just make stuff hard to store.

Like, I splurged on the Giant Robo box set years ago that was molded to look like the Eye of Volger. I love it, but that thing was a headache to move a few years back.
