Is Shotaro a Smooth Criminal?

I thought of SC during episode 1 when Shotaro's oya-san is seen wearing the all white suit and hat.

Shotaro is not really smooth nor a criminal. As for being hard-boiled well he's trying but a screechy girl with slippers keeps ruining it.

I still say Shotaro is a "more-improved" reincarnation of Kurenai Otoya........both in style and personality (well, Shotaro's funny moments are very reminiscent of Otoya)

Oh, guess I'm not the only one who feel that Shotaro sounds a bit like Otoya.
