Is Sentai/Rider/(insert recent Toku) filmed or taped?

I was wondering if anyone knew if any of the current Toku series are either shot on film or High-Definition tape. I always thought that they were still shot on film, but given how films shot on high-definiton tapes are getting better lokking, plus how Shinkenger and Decade look a little different, I was wondering if the change has been made to tapes. If anyone knows, I would be appreciative.

I know the recent Ultra Brothers movie was shot on HD video.

In this case, "filming" and "taping" a show have pretty much the same connotation, which basically is "to record the audio and visual of a show".

Considering the technology that's available, they're most likely being shot in widescreen Hi-Def video at the very least. It's also possible that they might be shooting them in widescreen digital video (i.e. no film, no tapes; footage is recorded digitally on hard drives in the cameras).

Shinkenger's the first sentai to be shot digitally; most other sentai shows were filmed with a 16mm film camera.

Thank you. Were all the Sentais, from Goranger to Go-onger, filmed in 16 mm? Do you also know if Decade is being shot digitally or if its the first Kamen Rider to be filmed on video?

As far as I know, Goranger through Magiranger was 16mm. Starting with Boukenger, they shot on Super 16 and blew it up to 35mm.

As for Decade...I'm not sure. With Kuuga, they started shooting on HD cameras. I'm not sure about the specifics of the Rider shows through Decade.
