Is Ninja Turtles: TNM considered a Toku show?

You are a complete and utter dipshit. Have you ever lived in Japan? Then you would know the primary fanbase are people between the ages of 12-30 thats teens and adults in my book. Something like the recent Kamen Rider series, from Kabuto and up are primarily directed at teens. Akibaranger is specifically for adults. Sure there is stuff meant for young kids like, uh, Kabutack. Majority of Toku have adult situations these days.

What do you think these shows are primarily made for kids between like 4-10? get real man.

Super sentai is made for ages 3-10. Kamen Rider is for slightly older. You see, you think like most Americans do. They think that their moral and ethical standards for tv series and other things apply to the world. They do not. Super Sentai is for little kids. Kamen Rider gets older audiences, but it's aimed for slightly older kids.

The only thing you managed to get right here is what you said about AKibaranger. What should but doesn't amaze me, is that you get in the dudes face with personal insults, then jumped him with flat out wrong information on your part. Nice job.

I mean we certainly do see a lot of 12-30 year olds dancing that samba jig during the end credits of Kyoryuger don't we? Obviously that's a show made for discriminating adults.

Also while Akibaranger is clearly targeted at adults isn't one the main jokes of the entire series that at 28-years-old Nobuo absolutely should not be watching a kid's show like Super Sentai and that the only adults who do are "lame" otaku???

You are a complete and utter dipshit.

Wow!! Just wow!! :rolleyes2:

I mean.. originally this was about whether TMNT: The Next Mutation was Tokusatsu or not, and now this is an argument about whether Tokusatsu is for kids or not....

..and calling people "dipshit" is involved?

Further proof that this thread is going nowhere.

And for the record, Super Sentai and Kamen Rider (with the exception of Shin Kamen Rider), are primarily for kids, however there's no shame in watching them as an adult.

Heck, I'd rather watch a Japanese kids show than most of the bullshit that's on TV nowadays (such as Big Brother, Strictle Come Dancing, Ass Factor and most of the crap on MTV).

There are Tokusatsu shows for adults too, such as Garo, Cutie Honey: The Live, and recently AkibaRanger (which is a parody of Super Sentai for Adults).

Super sentai is made for ages 3-10.

I don't think the upper end of the age range even goes as high as 10 anymore. I think it's more like 3-7 for Sentai these days, and Rider's upper limit is about one year higher than Sentai's. Kids abandon children's programming at younger and younger ages these days, I think in both the US and Japan.
