^ this, i hope that the cast actually tried to defend him in some way when they were called into the producers offices as they seem to be generally nice people, but given that it was somebodys sexuality that was brought into question even the nicest of people can become hate filled animals having being one of these animals myself a couple of years ago (thank god i stopped being 15 and grew up).

billy was always my favourite MMPR ranger mainly because i though blue and triceratops where awsome :buttrock: (i was 2 or 3 at the time:laugh and he just stayed as my fave ranger as i grew up (i found out he was gay from the interview so this escaped my dark mid teen years) then after seeing this interview and why he left, my respect for david yost shot through the roof having endured those years of abuse, then suffering further after he left the show.

Soooooo.... it's VERY possible the people being fucking shitfucks back then and causing him the grief they did... perhaps they've grown up like the rest of us.

...at least I hope so.

Hmm, back when I was a kid I never held any opinion or concern about sexuality. Knowing this now just justifies the fact that he left. Way better reason than leaving because of money.

I'm surprised. The term: homophobic comes in mind when it describes the producers bringing the cast in to question his sexuality. Leave him alone!! Let him be what he wants to be. He will always be the greatest blue ranger ever!

Really good interview. I know how he feels even though it was the exect oppsoite for me. (I was picked on in Small engine repair class in my soft more year of high school because I was hetorseaxual while the rest of the class were homosexaul guys. True story.):bawling:

I wanna effing know who called him a faggot. Thats just absurd. Why should the producers call in the cast to ask about his sexuality? Did he play a gay charcter? No. Did he act gay playing his character? No. Did people who watched the show know he was gay and complained about it. No, or at least I highly doubt it.

I been brought up in life to never judge people by their sexuality, race, religion, etc. And it annoys me when people just can't stand people who arent like them. No on person is the same to another, so why make sun of someone who is different then you.

If it was a cast member who kept callin him fagoot...........I can think of who could have, but wont say names.

It's a fcking disappointment he didn't stay because of a bunch of ignorant fcks decided to harass him. That is really unprofessional and disrespectful. You have someone who had worked on the show (A MAIN CHARACTER no less) for FOUR years and that's what he gets? Even though with that tribute at his character's final episode I don't think that's enough for the **** he went through.

I won't lie though, I remember hearing the few rumors about why he left before this interview and believing some. Now I feel bad :disappoin

I'm with Matrix's post, he didn't do ANYTHING homosexual on camera. I hope a cast member didn't call him faggot cause that would even more disappointing.

It would have been sweet if he stayed and then he would have become director.

Huh... that explains why he was so angry about being called Billy. Being called that after that experience on set must have been almost equivalent. **** that's some real petty **** on the part of the producers. Opinions about sexuality aside, that seems more of a matter of manners and respect.
