I loved how Kenta and Miku behaved when they thought Yusaku was going to die, and actually devised a plan to lock him up inside the storeroom. Lol.

Just finished watching episodes 23-25. I never realized that Mega Silver would be an annoying character. Also, he's got a Metal Hero vibe in him (not just because Shigeru Kanai was in B-Fighter) - especially when he's using his Auto Slider.

Megaranger has the coolest robots ever. Galaxy Mega for a robot that is made up of just a ship and a shuttle inside it, is really cool. I so dig Mega Red's personal robot, and when it combines with Galaxy Mega. Mega Voyager is one of the coolest secondary robots ever. Mega Winger is alright.

I like Megaranger and the design work is a big part of the reason why. Good hero suits, good monster suits, good mecha designs. They have extra mecha but not a glut of them. Also probably one of the most genuinely likable casts of high-school age protagonists I've seen in any superhero story.

Kenta is a dense but lovable guy with a heart that makes up for his lack of smarts, but at this point they weren't doing that approach to a Sentai Red in a loud and screechy way.

I watched the first episode of Megaranger (thanks to MegaAnon) to prepare myself for Gokaiger episode 39, and I must say, it's a solid opener. You get a good idea of the characters' personalities in that episode alone, the action's nice (if dated) and everyone is as bro as hell, not too unlike a certain club...
