....I mean, is this actually proven to have killed people? I just find that very hard to believe. It's one thing to shut down the brain through visuals (causing a seizure or something along those lines,) but enough to actually "kill" the brain? Proof please.

The seizure is probably what kills you. Although if Darren Brown can put a guy to sleep for however long he wishes just with some color I'm sure theres a way to find out someone's death pattern of color.
