I'll be walking in Memphis next weekend.

My Dad's sister gave birth to her 2nd daughter, and my family's visiting for her baptism. My aunt's husband is from Philadelphia, and whenever they come to Memphis, we have the local BBQ.

Oh, and the city of Memphis, Tennessee, is holding the annual Memphis in May festival. It's a month-long festival to BBQ. This Thursday through Saturday is the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. Maybe my dad and I can go by the Mississippi River bank, where the contest is being held, and see who wins for 2008.

We will fly in on Friday, and fly back on Tuesday.

Memphis is all about Jazz and the Blues.

Oh I thought all of Tennessee was about Nascar & Country Music.

Nascar isn't really a huge thing in Memphis.

It's really all about Jazz, Blues, and College Basketball.

Aside from Memphis in May, and a few other festivals, it's not that great of a city.
