So I've been going through a lot creative wise, and well...with summer and university actually not being to bad (Jeezus i got straight A's) I've been wanting to really make something nice...I tried the whole fan-fiction thing and by god they're horrible v.v since you're not making your own ideas.
I won't go to in-depth on certain things but basically what I'm gonna do is take a vote (Ya can vote for more then one) and ask for other's opinions/comments as well. Once one idea is chosen with everyone's suggestions I'll form it into something epic, and we can see what will go from there. Also the rps whichever is made can have from 5 to 10 people with all being involved in the main storyline...honestly more then ten is just to much for me to handle, and anything more to five will be controlled a bit, just so no one tries to always stay in the spotlight
Ideas:
1. Something like a Virus/Illness that is turning people across the globe into monsters. The virus will have infected the world, without anyone knowing about it until something sets the mutation process off, such as: Traumatic events, the vessel being put at high risk, the vessel being put under massive amounts of pressure/stress, will set the mutation process off causing the vessel (infected person/an infected beginning to mutate) to change, and with the virus in control it'll use the vessel to accomplish its goals.
Characters: (This is just the type of characters that would be open)
Detectives, Vessels, Armored Heroes/Riderish characters, Scientist who are working to cure the virus/creators of the weapons used to fight the monsters.
2. Being obsessed with Science fiction lately, I had a great idea for military rp. The rp would revolve around a squad of soldiers during a war against multiple alien races, where the soldiers fight in mechs similar to those in Front mission or Armored Core.
Characters: Squad members, Mech/Ship engineers
3. Just watching kamen rider and sentai over the years I've always wondered why there isn't any violence (really i know why) like real violence that is. This idea would be a dark kamen rider or sentai rp. I'm not to sure if I'd want to use a series like 555, W or Dekaranger where it can be turned dark/darker or develop my own rider/sentai suit. The rp would be dark in that people will get wounded/die, the suits won't be invincible like in the t.v. shows. Same thing goes for the monsters/kaijus, it'll be like Amazon without the foam.
Characters: Riders/Sentai members, Main villains, Others (comic relief/friends of the riders/members, and assistants.)
4. Inspired by Deus ex this rp would be in a world where gangs and criminal organizations begin to augment themselves with cybernetic advances such as mechanical arms/legs, eyes, muscles. And people either affected by these organizations or just ordinary people who wish to fight back against fiends, augment themselves to fight at an even playing ground. This rp would have the same sense of a dark vibe to it like number 3
Characters: Crime fighters, Villains, Detectives/Police officers
5. The final idea is a super hero rp...kinda. The powers will have an unknown origin, and the people would vary in age/races as well as their powers. The only unique thing I thought about when it comes to the powers is that the users of these powers would lose something, most likely one of their senses while they were actively using them. Like a man who gets super strength, but loses his ability to see...how do you smash what ya can't see?
Characters: Power users, Investigators/researchers
I hope to get some nice helpful responses, I know this is a toku rp area but I like some variety/creativity, and plus in the deus ex inspired one most people would end up looking like armored heroes/riders in the long run. I just hope that once I get one going they'll actually be enough people.
Final note: Everyone gets a hug...but just one cause I can't hug everyone forever cause then an rp won't be finished X3
