Expansive role plays such as this one take loads of planning, and not to mention, numerous amounts of active role players which the site just doesn't tend to have. There are a vast amount of good regulars that could hold the project up, but with something like this requires people with no lives. Not saying that you don't have one or anything, this is just the basis of my opinion. All in all, it has the potential to be great, but with only the right people. Even then, it could still fail with all the right people. Bit of a conundrum eh?

The planning, organization, and time that needs to be brought into this "central" RPG just can't be done. The last time I participated in to a "large" RPG, I ended up dropping it in the middle because everyone didn't really know what to do. I just couldn't go through something like that again. It was a fun RPG at first but eventually it fell down in the end.
