I Seriously Need Your Help!! - OnePiece

Now, we all know that the American 4Kids Dub of the Anime OnePiece is a pile of crap!!

So, still kinda interested in this Anime I decided to go on EBay to see if it's possible to get OnePiece in it's original Japanese form, and then I came accross this..

120 Episodes, 24 DVDs, 4 Boxsets.. and the Price.. seems almost too good to be true!! (take a look)

This looks very tempting, but I'm a bit worried. Could there be a little secret behind the hyper cheap price? What if the DVDs were badly made which could lead to the DVDs not working properly, or other disadvantages?

Has anybody on this board ordered one of these hyper cheap Anime DVDs before? If so please let me know what they're like!!

Heh well the shipping is like 60bux. And the HKs aren't all that great unless you're interested in the adventures of Roof, Sunkist and Suron, instead of Luffy, Sanji and Zoro.

You could just download the eps, Kaizoku-Fansubs has torrents for all their releases.

I've had the misfortune of seeing the HK subs for One Piece and they make the Ryuki subs look like frelling Shakespeare.

So, steer clear at all costs.

As for HK subs.. I wouldn't be surprised since my Digi Charat Subs didn't make any sense either. They renamed Digiko as "Ditchi", Puchiko as "Soban" and Rabbi en Rose as "Labbien Rose".

Hmm.. still doesn't work!! Maybe I'll try some other time (maybe tomorrow or something).

And if it still doesn't work, maybe the bootlegs could be my only option. And if the subtitles are crap I can always turn them off since I'm surposed to be learning Japanese!!

Or maybe Keith did a little typo in the URL.. I could be wrong though..

That's how E-Bay sellers get ya. They put stuff up for really cheap but the postage is sky high. Such as Kamen Rider sets from DVD2005cartoon, $25 but shipping to anywhere is $25 so he's still making $50 from them! **** dvd2005cartoon! I'm going to javd! Or is it jadvd? Either way, cheaper stuff!

Try the all purpsoe fix of "emptying your cache." That's worked for me once or twice in the past.
