I need more TOKU!!!

Okay, so since I have got here, I realized that I was behind in the whole Toku deal. So, I watched al the Heisei Riders. Gekiranger, Go Onger. And am working on Liveman, Magiranger, andBoukenger. And still, I FEEL BEHIND!

So I need to know, what more Toku should I watch?

I will buy the DVDs or whatever, as long as there subbed.

Or I will download them, either way.

Somebody help!!!!!!!!!!

You should head over to Tokuraws for more old-school Toku.

The original Ultraman is relatively easy to get ahold of. My personal favorites are the original Ultra Q (1966), Ultraman Ace (1972), and Ultraman Max (2005; way better than Mebius, damn it all). Also, check out the movies Ultraman the Next (2004) and The Super 8 Ultra Brothers (2008).

Outside of that, try the 90s Gamera trilogy, Iron King (1972), Red Baron (1973), Bio Planet WoO (2006), and MIKAZUKI (2000). Those are all pretty great.

Oh, and a ton of people are about to recommend GARO (2005), Ultraman Nexus (2004), Ultraseven X (2007), and probably Sh15uya (2005) too. They're all pretty great shows too, even if they recieve a bit more attention than other shows that deserve just as much.

And, of course, anything made by Toho from 1954 to 1975. Godzilla (1954), Rodan (1956), The Mysterians (1957), Mothra (1961), Matango (1963), Mothra Vs. Godzilla (1964), Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster (1964), Frankenstein Vs. Baragon (1965), Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster (1966), King Kong Escapes (1967), Godzilla Vs. Gigan (1972), and Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) to name just a small few. All of it's gold though.
