Anyway, i looked him up and i gather his Importance is because he was in that Firefly show, Right?
I've never seen it, but i hear it's one of those shows that got cancelled quickly but has since gained a cult following.

Good shows that get quickly cancelled do tend to have cult followings. At least ABC didn't cancel Castle right off the bat. They tend to cancel shows with potential before they realize it.
