For all the people who've read any of my PR-related threads, I love Power Rangers in Space. However, there are many problems that I have with this series. Some ranging from small to large. Here they are.
1) Dark Spector: I know that they didn't have enough money to create a new outfit, but using the Maligore costum makes him look too in your face. They should have had him just wearing a black robe covering his entire body, and once an a while, show one of his hands to be the Maligore claw. And at the final episode, have him remove the robe to reveal that he is a human with parts of Maligore's body.
2) Andros: He is my favorite Red Ranger, but I do have problems with the guy. One of them is he doesn't really seem like the leader type. I mean I expected him to be this battle-hardened warrior who keeps everyone at an arms reach. When they introduce Zhane, he could give the other reasons on why Andros is the way he is.
3) The Space Ranger Powers: Explain how KO-35 were able to create Ranger Tech. What powers them? Did Zordon help in any way? And what do the glowing tech symbols mean? Do they have the same powers as the Megaranger counterparts? I wanna know dammit!
4) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: What else could be said about this episode? All I can say is that it is the "Big-lipped Alligator Moment" of the Power Rangers universe.
5) Missed Chance for Greatness: Since Saban thought that this would have been the last season of Power Rangers, they should have got Justin back to the fight as well as the Zeo Rangers and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
6) Andros Killing Zordon: I know the death of Zordon was probably the most emotional scene in Power Rangers. I have a problem is that Andros is the one killing him. Andros, hell the entire Space Rangers, have barely any connection to Zordon. TJ, Carlos, Ashley, and Cassie met Zordon twice: when they first became Rangers and before the Power Chamber was destroyed. It would have been more emotional if one of the original Rangers had to make the final blow. Actually, Tommy would have been the best canidate, because he got the most guidance from Zordon than anyother Ranger.
Thats my bitching about In Space. Next Time, I bitch about Time Force.
