Wraithstrike
Resident Precureologist
So, I finally got gainfully employed(as soon as the temp agency resolves its issues with the web-based timecard.) For these last three days, I've been working security at a methadone clinic.
It's good work. Come in insanely early, and monitor the lines to make sure they're not passing around anything more harmful than cigarettes. But it hurts like hell!
In prior jobs, my legs were the weakest link, giving out after two hours on my feet. I can handle the standing now, but my back screams at me like it's getting run over by a steamroller.
I keep my complaints at work to a minimum, but as soon as I'm driving home AUGH! FRAK! SONOFA! and other choices verbalizations.
So, woot for me, I got a job. Now if only my back would shut up.
