There's less exposure to know about deaf culture, you know?

And not many deaf people write in perfect english. They tend to write very poorly. I wish there are so many deaf people who can write and create their very own shows.

So many deaf people can do anything, far beyond our exception. I just wish people don't see deaf people as disease, that's who we are. We born that way, there's nothing wrong with us.

But I'm different from them. My former teachers..many people I met, they told me that I wrote perfect english. They knew that I was very special.

I don't quite understand your first sentence. Not many deaf people write in perfect English? That's news to me and the many deaf people I have assisted during my work. Who sees deaf people as a disease? Not all deaf people were born that way. You write ok most of the time, but you do not write perfect English. I know of very few people on the net that write perfect English.

My dad is deaf in his right ear, he writes perfect english.
I'm slightly deaf in my right ear also, and I can write perfect english.
Can I be special too?

btw, im totally serious about the deaf part.

Yeah he is apparently. Though for the overall population, deaf people are capable of being smarter than some of the posts he's made IMO. Regardless I do feel bad for those handicapped.

My mother and most of her friends are deaf.

She is the only one who can write and speak perfect English since she lost her hearing a little later in life.

They all use ASL to communicate with each other, and from what I understand, ASL is different from English. It doesn't have a lot of the same words.

So, when they use things like text messages...it's often written like how they would sign it.
