it's all right but when Hurricane Red bleeds it just gets boring. The whole point is for the Gaorangers to get back their morphers which they do. They also have 5 villians morphin and **** like that and the villian ressurrects his brother only to be defeated by the power of all the robos present.

I take it you're referring to the 4x4 sign...

It's a pun on the Japanese words for "lion" and "four". Lion is shishi, and four can be shi (it's usually yon, though). So, shishi can be "lion" (which is how GaoRed intends it as), or it can be "four four" (4x4).

Edit: Eh, I'll throw in my thoughts on the special. I liked it a lot, but it's not my favourite versus special (that would be TimeRanger vs. Go Go FIve). I loved the dynamic between the characters of both series', and it was a pretty fun special overall. Of course, I got to see it with those "wonderful" HK subs, so I had the joy of seeing the "Gao Main Bastard" (still my favourite Engrish subtitle) the first time I saw Hurri vs. Gao. The only thing that annoyed me about Hurri vs. Gao was Oboro breaking the fourth wall...

I actually thought that was funny. And nowhere near as bad as what Ryou did in the Dairanger movie (thanking the audience? Come on!). Or Emiri in that shitty Abaranger movie...
