how to make animated gifs?

What program do you use and can someone tell me how to make them?

I use Image Ready, it comes with your Photoshop...it pretty much has to do with the numbers of layers you're working on, organizing them, then timing between one frame to another.

I used ACD See 7.0 to convert .avi to multiple frame image and then organise the frame using Image Ready :anime:
