How big is Kamen Rider Fan Community in US?

I really think that the only reason there's such a stigma in the states and other English speaking countries is because of Power Rangers and other Saban shows. Unless it's a comic book superhero, if there's a live action with someone in suit, they're automatically going to equate it to being a Power Rangers knock off and think it's nothing but kiddy crap, which gets really tiring to hear. That's not to say that Kamen Rider is the epitome of dramatic shows, but it can still do it a lot better than Power Rangers has ever been able to.

B-Movie Creature Feature + B-Movie Kung Fu Film + Cornball Melodrama = Tokusatsu

...much better than...

Super Sentai + Kamen Rider + Metal Heroes + Ultraman + Godzilla + Gamera = Power Rangers, therefore is not tokusatsu.

i think it's a decent size, i just hope there aren't some toku-snobs among them who are unwilling to give it a try because of that masked rider fiasco, give it four or five episodes and THEN judge it

The problem is getting KR fans is to try to get them to sit to watch at least one episodes without them running for the hills screaming "Power Rangers"...now I'm having the same problem with GARO.

Getting "old school fans" to watch is no problem, the rest is like...*shakes head* :sly:
