Hokuto Musou-Final Trailer

Unmei, are you saying I can order the UK version (say, off eBay) and it will work in my North American PS3 without any modding or patches? Thanks!

Btw, how is the Gundam Dynasty Warriors game? That's also a Musou game, right? It would also be cool to have a Berserk Musou game too.

Generally, PS3s are region free for software. A few companies will put region coding on the blu-ray games, but it's pretty rare. The only issue you might have is with DLC, if there's American released DLC it won't work on the UK release of the game, and you can't get UK released DLC without a UK based bank account.

The DW Gundam games are pretty good, I don't care as much for them as the general Dynasty Warriors titles, but 2 is pretty good for fanboys. Berserk isn't quite iconic enough to get a Musou game I 'd think.

From what i've read about this it seems the discs do have a region code (look at the spine of american games). It's just that the console doesnt care and just plays every region.

The console being almost completely region free is one of the main reasons I bought it. Importing games saves a lot of money (about 15-20 euro per game). Having to wait for Wii games to get released here and then paying more too was really annoying.

Like I said. It's rare, it may never have officially been done either for that matter. But it can happen. Stranglehold was initially going to be region locked for the Collectors Edition due to licensing issues with the bonus content, but it was cleared up before release. The games can very well be region locked, though I don't know if a company has actually bothered with it in the past to be honest, but it's always something I look out for before importing, just because I know it CAN happen. Initially it was a requirement for for Sony certification that PS3 games be region free. It may very well still be, but when you're dropping $80 on an import (shipping and whatnot included) it's always good to make sure for the individual games first.

probably handle the stages similarly, with different enemies. Odds are tho they'd (unfortunately) just leave out Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency and shoot straight into Generation 3

Oh my God, the game looks awesome! I remember watching the leaked video back then! And I really want the special edition of the game! Waking up to the girl speaking from the voice alarm would be awesome! Anyone else agree with me?:D

You'd get sick of it. Fast. Trust me on this. I have several Hokuto no Ken talking clocks, among other series. The novelty quickly wears off.
