HLJ problem?

So earlier this week I pre-oredered from HLJ the Arm Change figures for Baron, Ryugen and Zangetsu. I'm a little concerned though as they haven't e-mailed me to pay for and ship the Baron figure despite their website now saying it's on backorder. Is this normal or has something happened?

From my experience, "backorder" means "lol, we're just gonna make you <i>think</i> the item will come in, tough luck ever getting it." And it'll just sit that way, until/unless the tiny chance they get more happens, in which they might deign to contact you.

Shouldn't their website have said something about them being out of pre-orders or something then? I mean at least Hobby Search tells you if their pre-orders are full.

I found out the hard way that even if you manage to secure a 'pre-order' at HLJ, they almost always get fewer stock than the number of orders they receive as they don't close their pre-orders.

This basically means that a pre-order at HLJ doesn't guarantee you your order at all.

This is different from AmiAmi and Hobby Search. Both of these stores only take the number of orders they can fulfill and cut off pre-orders after that.

So basically as far as I know all my pre-orders at HJU are pretty much null.

i pre ordered my sengoku driver and got it from HLJ.

i would think backordering is like pre ordering so they place you on their list and if they get more in stock which they should, they will contact you.

If you pre-order anything at HLJ, there's about a 25% chance you'll actually get it.

Lately I've pre-ordered:

- Sengoku Driver
- Lock Seed Holder
- Tobaspino
- Zyudenchi de Carnival Set

And a few other Wizard and Kyoryuger items I'm not remembering right now.

I've gotten none of it. Pretty much stopped bothering with that store unless it's actually listed as In Stock.
