I first realized I was different from everybody else when my dad wanted my brother and I to go outside and play baseball when we were very little. I said that I would rather stay inside and play with my Power Rangers figures and play games on the Sega Genesis. Despite this, I still ended up being the more powerful brother

The plane ride home from Power MorphiCon. I had five hours to think over what just happened. And it hit me. I sunk over $500 in merchandise that weekend. I had a replica weapon from a kid's show, signed by two actors whose names I'd never forget and by a legendary (in my mind) action director. And at home, I'd be watching a HK bootleg of a Japanese TV series that has captured the hearts of millions in the other side of the world. I'd be watching it on my Xbox 360. Right next to my Xbox 360? My Wii.

That's when I realized it. It began in 2002 when I joined RangerBoard (then Power Rangers Central), but I didn't realize it until that day.

You know, beyond all the porn and filth the Intarweb's got a huge advantage...it lets geeks and freaks like us talk to other geeks and freaks we would never be able to meet with in real life.

It took me a long time to realize I was a geek.

My oldest memory ever was when I was three. When I would go over to my babysitters, her husband had an NES with the Legend of Zelda. He would leave it on and let me play it for about an hour every day. I never got anywhere in it, but I will always remember going down into that little hole and reading "Its Dangerous to Go Out There Alone. Take This. God I loved that game.

I was a Video Game geek for years after that, but I never heard of anime until I moved to vernon, which is also where I got my first taste of DnD. Then I picked up comic books after hearing about GL Rebirth.

Now before all this I was a PR fan just like all of my other friends, but again it wasnt until I moved to Vernon that I learned what it was based off of. From there I learned of Kamen Rider, and the rest they say is history.

Honestly though, I probably wouldnt be the way I am today if it hadnt been for my babysitters husband, being nice and letting a bored little kid play Zelda.

To this day I have played (and beaten) every Nintendo Zelda game made

I always knew I wasn't like most people, but I remember a time in Elementary art class that it became really obvious that I was a geek.... and that everyone else was aware of it.

We were doing some messy project, so the teacher had laid newspaper across all of the tables. I was sitting there minding my own business when all of a sudden this girl came up to me and handed me a piece of the newspaper. On the page was an article my local paper did on Rita and Zedd's marriage! She'd seen their wedding picture and automatically thought of me. Little did she realize I already had that picture hanging on bedroom wall!
