Hitler's Sidearm wasn't German!

I've been doing some research for this comic book that I'm working on, and one of the weapons my character uses is the personal sidearm of Hitler.

All this time I thought it was some German Handgun like the Walther P38, but I was wrong. Its actually this.

This is a Smith and Wesson serial 709 revolver.

This gives a pretty good history of the weapon, which they call the Gun of Destiny.

I'm really glad I found this now. It would have sucked to come across this after I had submitted my comic book idea.

Bwahaha! You know I never knew what Godwin's Law was. I never had a reason to look it up. Thats damn funny though.

Anyway, the reason my character's weapon is Hitler's sidearm is that supposedly Hitler had it enchanted with a bunch of occult rituals. So it supposedly can hurt demons and stuff.

That's weird. He could have got it from a British soldier's body in WW1, or he could have just bought it/acquired it after the war. Interesting though!

Nazi+Occult+Aliens+monsters= Awesome SciFi movie!

Not exactly, this has nothing to do with nazi's or aliens. Its just one of the weapons he uses in the series. Not much back story is given about it.

H also uses a dagger made from the pieces of the spear of longinus.

But I figured the way Hitler was about Germans being so superior, that he'd use a "superior" handgun.

I think a hypocrite was the least of what Hitler was.
